You’re right, if you are talking about the circumstances that we are born into ~ the hand we are dealt in life.

But in most other situations, when we retrace our steps, we see our part in getting to the place we now inhabit.

Oh my, that is very graphic. It does make me wonder how people can let themselves go like that or if it’s a medical condition.

Some folks are focused on immediate gratification without considering the long term consequences. 😉
