Today, I’m re-blogging an article from You Were Born That Way’s blog.
In O.K. Here It Is ~ The Big Question, Nancy Fairbrother shares insights into Numerology with readers, demonstrating how to reveal life purpose using your birth name and the Chaldean Conversion Code . . .
Using the full name on my birth certificate, I followed the simple steps and ended up with “5” . . . FREEDOM!
5. Your purpose is to embody freedom, sharing your enthusiasm with the world. You are the ultimate salesperson.
Qualities: likeable, outgoing, versatile, adventurous, curious, clever, energetic, expansive, and sensual; glib, restless, stubborn, irresponsible, addictive, excessive, resentful.
Express freedom by being true to yourself instead of trying to show the world you can’t be controlled.
Perfect! Except that I resent being called “resentful.”
If you’ve read my brief bio, you may have noticed that freedom and autonomy are the central themes of my life quest for happiness.
Check out the full article and see what insights it offers to you!

Airing Dirty Laundry September 12, 2010

Wikipedia ~ Window (in Public Domain)
A young couple moved into a new apartment.
The next morning, the young woman noticed her neighbor hanging the wash outside, and commented, “That laundry is not very clean. Perhaps she needs better laundry soap.”
Her husband looked out the window without comment.
Every time her neighbor hung her wash on the line, the young woman made similar comments, “Her laundry looks terrible. Perhaps she doesn’t know how to wash clothes correctly.”
One morning, a month or so after moving in, the woman looked out and saw clean wash hanging on the line.
She called out to her husband, “Look, her clothes are clean! She must have switched laundry detergent.”
Her husband laughed, “No. I got up early this morning and cleaned our windows.”
And so it is with life.
What we see depends on the clarity of the window through which we look.
