AirplaneYesterday over lunch, we stumbled across a show on private luxury jets owned by wealthy folks who “need” to be able to travel without the hassle of flying like cattle on commercial airlines.

Cost of jet:  $50 million
Cost of fuel: $50 per minute
Whisking 7 spoiled brats from Vegas to NYC in 3 hr. 24 min.: Priceless

Next up, a show featuring a private yacht with twin engines that cost in excess of $100 million dollars to build due to its:  4 spacious staterooms, 7 opulent heads with marble counters,  palatial galley, sumptuous salon, swimming pool with retractable cover, helicopter pad, jacuzzi, 3 bars, ballroom, apple orchard, and a partridge in a pear tree.

These shows on “Bling” gave me an idea for a novel.

It’s flowing from my fingers . . . 7,792 words yesterday afternoon and evening over the course of about 10 hours.

I’m having a grand time jet-setting around the world with the glitterati.

Aah . . . that’s better!
