never feed the alligators, especially with yourself
Fortunately, our gators are not quite as cranky as your crocs. 😉
hahahaha!
I tend to swim in pools, not ponds. I like to see my feet and KNOW that they are out of harm’s way.
Love this photo!
Thanks, Piglet!
Do you photograph the sights you see? If so, check out the weekly challenge.
I carry my camera everywhere…I saw you entry on wordpress photo challenge. This is just the sort of photo I would take – it’s really amusing and appeals to my sense of humour 🙂
You sound like me. 😀
When something tickles my funny bone chakra, I pull my camera out, point, and capture the mirth.
Exactly!
I just checked out your Sunday post. Those cloud photos would be perfect for Paula’s Blogoversary Contest. Hope you’ll check out her link for the details.
Yep, thanks for that. Just emailed my entry 🙂
Excellent!
A sign would not have to tell me not to swim there! No way would I swim there. I had no idea when I was growing up that there were alligators in the lake where we went one time. I’m glad we never went back. I was a skinny little thing, couldn’t float or swim. I would have died had I seen one. I thought my dad was surely crazy for taking us there. It is a popular spot though.
The alligators we have seen have been non-aggressive and well-fed.
But I still wouldn’t pull their tails. 🙂
I’d rather walk through bear country with only a camera than…SWIM??!! That’s not serious, right? 😀
Oh, the sign is serious. It’s at Lake Manatee State Park where campers and gators peacefully co-exist. Most of the time.
I know the sign is serious, but it cracks me up! 🙂
Great pic for the photo challenge.
Thanks, Grandawn! It made me smile too.
But I looked around for gators before taking the photo.
