Florida Travel and Life recently aired a show on Bradenton, Anna Maria, Longboat Key, and Lakewood Ranch on the Discovery Channel.
Affordable Luxury filmed the program last November and featured Island beaches, restaurants, shopping, water sports, accommodations, museums, art galleries, nature preserves, and other area attractions.
Segments included: Cortez Fishing Village, Bridge Street Market, Mixon Fruit Farms, Robinson Preserve, DeSoto National Memorial, and even Snooty, the 62 year old manatee who lives at the South Florida Museum.
“Once you’ve seen the show, you’ll be eager to experience this island culture for yourself,” promised Susan Friedman, Senior Editor, FT&L Magazine. “The island culture of Florida’s Gulf Coast is irresistible. It truly is a slice of paradise.”
If you missed it, you can watch the individual segments (each 1-2 minutes long) on Florida Travel & Life ~ we watched them yesterday and grinned from ear to ear as we pinched ourselves and said, “There’s no place like home!”
No rules. Just write!
What about you?
What’s your favorite get-away? Your dream vacation? Where do you call home?
