Ready for some more hilarious quotes from government employee performance appraisals?
Here’s what our tax dollars buy us these days in the field of human resources:
9. “This employee should go far, and the sooner he starts, the better.”
10. “Got a full 6-pack, but lacks the plastic thing to hold it all together.”
11. “A gross ignoramus ~ 144 times worse than an ordinary ignoramus.”
12. “She has taken all aspects of her job to previously unexplored levels of space.”
13. “I would like to go hunting with him sometime.”
14. “He’s been working with glue too much.”
15. “He doesn’t have ulcers, but he’s a carrier.”
16. “He would argue with a signpost.”

How funny!
My faves on this list are the last two.
Of course, I would argue with a signpost. It’s good practice. 😉
Hilarious! I’m holding my stomach 😀
Reading these makes me feel better about my own on-the-job performance . . . is that wrong? 😉
Tsk. Very funny. Ha! Blessings…
Poking fun at anonymous government employees does not give me “cause for pause” . . . but if I knew “these people” I would feel bad making fun of their obvious deficiencies.
Like the government, they are operating in the red. 🙂
Nancy, where would we be without standards with which to measure ourselves against…? Can’t possibly be wrong…!
My fav is #12 😀
Exactly! How we look depends so much on choosing the “right” frame of reference. 😉
#11 and #16 are my favorites!
#11 is quite clever. 😉
Ha ha, these are too funny.
Do people actually write these kind of things in appraisals. lol
Probably not too often, but sometimes.
LOL.
Running these has been fun while I spend time with my nieces.
My review is due at the end of the week. I’ll keep an eye out for any of these comments 🙂
I can’t pick a favorite because they were all too funny. Thanks, I needed that on a Monday!
Good luck with your review! Hope you end the year on a high note.
Bwahahaha, thanks for the laugh!
Looks like these filled the bill so that I could focus on my nieces’ visit. 🙂
They leave tomorrow and I’ll be back to more regular posting and commenting on Thursday.
LOL! I did actually have a friend called Martin who spent a lot of time one night talking to a keep left sign…
I really enjoy arguing with STOP signs ~ they are SO bossy. 🙂
