Very clever…just how I feel today!

Same here. Now that the festivities are over (until New Year’s Eve), I’m enjoying stumbling out of the holi~daze.

2. Rufus' Food and Spirits Guide - December 26, 2011

Oh he really earned it though.

nrhatch - December 26, 2011

Indeed! We’re enjoying this “pause” today . . . before we begin reeling around resolutions. 😉

3. Andra watkins - December 26, 2011

Ah! Relaxing. Need to do some more of it today. 🙂

nrhatch - December 26, 2011

Definitely . . . enjoy pressing the “pause” button today.

4. Gobetween - December 26, 2011

Great day for putting up ones feet 🙂

nrhatch - December 26, 2011

Isn’t it! This is my favorite time of year . . . the lull between Christmas Day and New Year’s.

Nancy…your posts make me smile…think…act!
What more could one ask for? 🙂

nrhatch - December 26, 2011

Thank you so much, Vivian.

At some point, I’ll have to put on my thinking cap to consider how to close out the year on a high note.

But, for today, I’m just resting and relaxing.

Hi Nancy – catching up after a busy end of term period – nice to read your posts 🙂

nrhatch - December 26, 2011

Thanks, Martin. Hope you’ll be able to enjoy some R&R between now and the start of the next term.

Santa in an adirondack! Love it 🙂

nrhatch - December 26, 2011

Thanks, Pix! This photo is a bit fuzzy . . . but, as my head feels a bit fuzzy today, I decided to post “as is.” 😆

8. sufilight - December 26, 2011

LOL! I almost feel sorry for Santa and “hear” him say “aah… that’s better! LOL!

nrhatch - December 26, 2011

I know that I gave a great sigh of relief this morning. I love the holidays but they require lots of energy and stamina. 😀

9. cuhome - December 26, 2011

Very creative, and very accurate!!

nrhatch - December 26, 2011

I followed Santa’s lead today by kicking back to relax a bit. Did a bit of year end straightening and organizing . . . mostly by reading magazines and sticking them in recycling. 😉

10. kateshrewsday - December 26, 2011

😀 That chair looks just perfect for Santa reclination, Nancy…

nrhatch - December 26, 2011

And it doubles as a “sun lamp.” 😉

Santa just needs a little sand and a sunny Florida beach… then he could really relax. Happy Holidays!

nrhatch - December 27, 2011

This week is designed for R&R! Thanks, Theresa.

12. bluebee - December 28, 2011

They do look content… Life after the big day must be blissful for Santa and his elves… 🙂

nrhatch - December 29, 2011

And for ME! I am really enjoying this pause between Christmas and New Year’s. Aah . . . that’s better.

14. Naomi - December 29, 2011

Love it! Belated Merry Christmas to you & yours,
Nancy 😀

nrhatch - December 29, 2011

Thanks, Naomi. We packed up Santa and his sleigh yesterday and tucked them away for the next 11 months. We kept the tree out . . . its light is still welcoming each evening.
