Over the next few days, as our holidays swing into full gear
And lives overflow with family, friends, food, fun, spirits, and good cheer
I expect many regulars will be “missing in action” from the blogosphere . . .

Me included!

May your days be Merry and Bright . . . and your nights be filled with Love, Laughter, and Light!

Oh . . .
Star of wonder, star of night
Star with royal beauty bright
Westward leading, still proceeding
Guide us to the perfect light

Ooh, that’s a pretty star! Merry Christmas to you, Nancy!

nrhatch - December 24, 2011

Thanks, Maggie. Most of the year, this star looks beach-y (like a starfish) . . . but I decided to dress it up for the holi~daze. 💡

2. Jackie L. Robinson - December 24, 2011

Happiest of holidays to you, my friend. xoxo

nrhatch - December 24, 2011

Thanks, Jackie. May your holidays be filled with love and light. _/!\_

3. Tammy - December 24, 2011

Merry Christmas Nancy! May the new year greet you with health and abundance just like that which you share on your blog.

nrhatch - December 24, 2011

Thanks, Tammy. Same to you . . . and may any “sweet indulgences” add delight to our LIPS without adding girth to our HIPS. 😛

4. suzicate - December 24, 2011

Beautiful! Wishing you a lovely Christmas filled with love and light.

nrhatch - December 24, 2011

Thanks, Suzi. Enjoy the warmth and magic of “kith and kin.”

5. Tilly Bud - December 24, 2011

Merry Christmas to you and yours, Nancy.

I have really enjoyed the tour around your Christmas ornaments. I might do something similar next year.

Enjoy your day!

nrhatch - December 24, 2011

Thanks, Tilly. I hope you do. I keep looking around and seeing other “stories” and ornaments that didn’t get shared this year ~ which probably means my life is not “simplified” enough yet. 😉

Not sure what is planned for today. My nieces are still asleep in their beds after a late night last night ~ watching Christmas Vacation and playing games. Tomorrow morning, we’ll take them home (to my sister’s) and spend the day there eating, drinking, and making merry.

8. Patricia - December 24, 2011

Merry Christmas, Nancy.

nrhatch - December 26, 2011

Thanks, Patricia. Hope you had a lovely day.

9. Sandra Bell Kirchman - December 24, 2011

Love the sound of your Christmas plans, Nancy. How lovely to have nieces to share them with. Someones beyond yourself but still within the circle of love.

In the coming year, hope you receive all the encouragement, wisdom, healing and laughter that you share with all of us.

*hug*

nrhatch - December 26, 2011

Thanks, Sandra. We had FUN with my nieces . . . games, movies, beach, pool, and gifts.

Now I’m ready to stumble out of the holi-daze. 😀

10. sufilight - December 24, 2011

Merry Christmas, Nancy! I enjoyed your Holiday series, very creative and uplifting! 🙂

nrhatch - December 26, 2011

Thanks, I enjoyed sharing our decorations and the stories behind them. Maybe I’ll do another series soon . . . on New Years Resolutions. 😉

11. souldipper - December 24, 2011

All the blessings of the Season to all your loved ones and you, Nancy.

Silent Night, Holy Night…I love Christmas Eve. My all time favourite.

nrhatch - December 26, 2011

Hope you had a wonderful Christmas Eve and Day, Amy. We had FUN with my nieces and at my sister’s yesterday. Slept like a log last night . . . for 10 hours!

Press pause and S~N~O~O~Z~E! 😛

12. kateshrewsday - December 24, 2011

Have a great Christmas, Nancy. Enjoy!

nrhatch - December 26, 2011

Thanks, Kate. Quite lovely . . . if tiring.

13. ceceliafutch - December 25, 2011

Enjoy your holidays! See you when you return.

nrhatch - December 26, 2011

Thanks, Cecelia. I look forward to doing some cyber cruising today. 😀

14. hugmamma - December 25, 2011

You said it! Although I’ve been MIA a lot longer due to this, that and the other. Good to be back…kind of. Back issues prevent me from sitting at the computer for hours on end as I liked to do. However, today I vowed to give myself the gift of visiting friends and so I’m stopping by to…

extend huge holiday hugs as this year ends…and 2012 begins to unfold…may you continue to be blest with wisdom…and friends…hugmamma. 🙂

nrhatch - December 26, 2011

Thanks so much, HM. Glad to have you back . . . take care of your back.

15. jeanne - December 25, 2011

Nancy I have really enjoyed your Christmas song themed blogs these past few weeks. Very creative and a great way to keep the Spirit flowing.

nrhatch - December 26, 2011

Thanks, it’s been lots of FUN. Enjoyed your NOLA girl posts . . . bonfires on the bayou. 😀

16. nrhatch - December 25, 2011

We’re home, happy, and . . . oh-so-tired. I’ll read all your lovely comments and respond tomorrow.

M~E~R~R~Y C~H~R~I~S~T~M~A~S!

17. bluebee - December 26, 2011

Hope it’s been wonder-filled hours of fun, Nancy 😀

nrhatch - December 26, 2011

Quite nice . . . with lots of light, laughter, and good cheer.

18. Team Oyeniyi - December 27, 2011

Yes, I was missing in action too, plus our internet connection has been slowed by our ISP because our own little elves used up our monthly usage allowance 10 days too early!!!!

So a belated Seasons Greetings to you and your family!

nrhatch - December 27, 2011

Thanks, Robyn. I saw that “overage” mentioned in one of your posts ~ life with “little elves” is a regular “whodunnit,” eh? 😉

19. eof737 - December 29, 2011

May yours be filled with magical and wondrous things! 🙂

nrhatch - December 29, 2011

I’m enjoying this “interlude” between Christmas and New Year’s better than the “big days.”
