Echoes In Rain November 11, 2022

My current favorite song of ALL time . . . for now, anyway, is Echoes in Rain by Enya.
She sings lots of my favorite songs, but there is something so magically resonant about Echoes in Rain (with lyrics).
Want to hear it again?
Here’s a version of Echoes in Rain (with Enya singing in front of full orchestral accompaniment).
And now for a quick update on the AMES Competition:
Emily’s team won all 3 categories.
Best oralist, brief and overall team.
For a summary in Harvard Law Today: The Ames Game
Aah . . . that’s magic!

Congratulations to your niece. This is a big deal. I haven’t thought of Enya in years, thanks for the link. Now I’ll be humming a certain tune all day.
Thanks, Ally. It is a big deal. I’m pleased that she and the team were rewarded for all their efforts . . . although I’m sure the runners up are no slouches.
I love so many of Enya’s songs ~ both music and lyrics, but (for now, anyway) this is my fave! And, yes, like you, I’ll end up humming it all day.
Well done to Emily.
Love the song.
Thanks, Granny. Hope you have a stellar weekend as day flows to night and back again.
I love Enya and just listened to her this week. “Echoes in Rain” is one of my faves!
I’ve probably listened to it a couple dozen times this week. It resonates with my “happy” core. 😀
Have a wonderful weekend.
Very nice!
It’s a smile-inducing song for me . . . every time.
Congratulations, Emily and team!
“Here comes another new day.”
Love to hear Enya time after time. It never fails to nurture and calm the heart. Congratulations to Emily and her team❣️
Thanks, Val. What a thrilling finish to the moot court competition for them.
I hadn’t heard anything by Enya in years! Wow!
That’s what I thought, LM. Wow!
Congrats to Emily and the team!
I’m hoping she’ll be on our family ZOOM call tonight so we can applaud her efforts.
I do love Enya and only have to be aware that if I am going to play her music for any length of time I must be willing to “put it all down” and relax. Her artistry is that!
Major congratulations to Emily and her team! That is a wonderful accomplishment and I suspect for them, this is just the beginning. A talented bunch!
I’ve been listening to Enya every morning while “working” on my puzzles. She is good mood inducing. A great way to start a new day.
Emily has a clerkship lined up with a federal judge near San Francisco for the year after graduation. She’s definitely “on her way.”
Hooray for Emily. My son’s law firm is in San Francisco. I hope Emily will be very happy in a very unique city. 🙂 She certainly has a bright future!
Yay to your niece! 🎊
Oh yes, love Enya. 🙂
Thanks, JR.
Back when Tigers used to smoke . . . I anticipated practicing law until retirement. But then a Golden Possum whispered in my ear that I would end up looking like an African Rain Frog if I practiced law too long. So I opted to jump ship . . . and Popeye saved me!

Yay for jumping ship! 😄
Thanks for reminding me of a musical artist that I really enjoy despite having forgotten about her.
I’ve been listening to her most mornings lately and keep hearing new favorites:
Even in the Shadows
The Humming
Wild Child
