The Twelve Days of Croissants December 21, 2021

I’ve pressed the pause button on my gluten free diet for the remainder of the year so that we can enjoy warm croissants each morning with coffee.

YUM!

We’ll celebrate Christmas (a few days post) with my sister’s family in Orlando eating ANYTHING we want.

In moderation, of course.

In sum, we shall spend the rest of 2021 feeling fat, jolly, and festive!

Just like Good St. Nick!

Hope you find all the right ways to celebrate!

Ho-Ho-Ho!

Enjoy!

Thanks, Kate. We get our croissants from Fresh Market and they are melt-in-your-mouth delicious!

Hope you have some treats in store . . . even if your kitchen is on the fritz!

My brother is cooking again! Yay!

Excellent! Hope you all have a relaxing and fun time together.

Sounds like a perfect plan. Enjoy!

The Twelve Days of Croissants is the BEST Christmas Present I’ve given myself in years. Yummy in my tummy!

Glad you had such a nice birthday . . . even if you had to stay in instead of heading out.

3. Behind the Story - December 21, 2021

Sounds yummy–croissants and coffee. Have a great holiday.

nrhatch - December 22, 2021

Thanks, Nicki. It might become my new tradition ~ GF most of the year and then end the year with an “anything goes” attitude!

Happy Holidays to you!

Sounds delicious! I am going to Fresh Market today; I think I am going to have to pick some up to try!

We get the mini croissants (most of the time). But if FM only has the large croissants, they are equally delicious! We haven’t tried the multi-grain croissants yet.

To serve: we reheat (from room temp) for 5-7 minutes at 350 degrees and serve with unsalted butter. ENJOY!

BTW: They freeze well for a week or so (perhaps longer, but ours are always eaten by then). šŸ˜€

Yummy! My mouth is watering already, I can’t wait!

nrhatch - December 26, 2021

So . . . how were they? Hope they were a hit!

5. Ally Bean - December 23, 2021

You’ve got this holiday season figured out! Enjoy

nrhatch - December 26, 2021

Thanks, Ally. Hope you enjoyed some special fun treats this week. I’m sticking with “anything goes” until 12/31 and then I’ll rein myself in on 1/1/22. šŸ˜€

6. L. Marie - December 27, 2021

Enjoy, Nancy! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas!
I had a chocolate croissant for breakfast this morning. So good!

nrhatch - December 27, 2021

That’s the breakfast of champions right there, LM!

Have a great week and make sure that 2022 gets off on the right foot!
