Don’t waste your money on expensive tech toys for Stepford Kids . . .
Just give them a snow globe to share!
Aah . . . that’s the ticket!
I wonder if that would make them happy!
If they are Stepford Kids . . . yes.
Otherwise, no.
Or give the parent one to promote calm and tranquility.
With Stepford Kids, all is calm, all is tranquil, all the time. π
If THAT works, then you might even get away with giving them a stack of cardboard boxes to fuel their creativity, right after the snow globe βmeditation.β π€·π½ββοΈ
Yo, Jo! Good to see you. And, yes, I bet those 2 kids would be happy with a stack of boxes or even a packet of post-its. π
Hope you’re on the way to a very Happy Holiday!
Our favorite Christmas gift was always the coloring book and new set of crayons. I do love snow globes. Also ballet dancers that dance on little musical jewelry boxes.
After months of remote school, although my grandson still plays lots of video games, he’s ready for some new Lego and books.
Yay for Lego & books . . . and putting down the video game remote for a time. I’m sure you’ll be able to accommodate your grandson’s gifts requests with delight! π
BTW: I don’t have anything against snow globes, or ballet dancers in jewelry boxes, but these 2 kids seem too old to be so mesmerized and so cuddly with each other . . . unless, of course, their mom shared her Prozac with them. π
I love snow globes. I also love board games. But I can’t imagine a kid today being happy to be given a snow globe,
Yup . . . I can’t imagine them being mesmerized by the swirling flakes for more than a couple of shakes!
Now, board games = perfect as a gift, especially if you agree to play with/against them!
I have one holiday snow globe from my younger days. It’s nice, but it doesn’t exactly light me up with joy. And I’m old. I can’t imagine a kid liking one as a present now.
Same here, Ally. It’s such a silly (& creepy) ad . . . as if that snow globe would get me to shop in the store! π
You are a keen observer, Nancy. I likely wouldn’t have picked up on the Stepford Kids “hypnotized” affect. LOL! I’m laughing!
Yay! That was my goal ~> share the mirth!
