“What you are looking for is the place you’re looking from.”
~ St. Francis of Assisi (maybe)
Awaken to the joyous presence within.
Let go of what has happened.
Be the lens, the observer, the pure self.
Pure consciousness.
Awake and aware.
Aah . . . that’s better!
Always forward!
We travel best when we travel light. Good luck to you and Morgan this week. Hope the new collar is a good fit.
Upwards and inwards. Thank you for the rallying call 💕
My pleasure, Val. It’s been a week!
That St. Francis quote is a new one for me.
The quote may be misattributed to St. Francis. I may edit the post to read “anonymous.”

St. Francis is the person I follow
Turns out, he may not have been the one to say this ~ see my comment above which includes a link to a scholarly post on the quote. I still like the quote though.
I must admit I hardly pay attention to quotes. Just seeing the name of St. Francis makes my heart leap.
St. Francis was my MIL’s favorite too.
It’s so true. When I was young I couldn’t wait to leave Maine. When I grew up… I couldn’t wait to go back.
It’s good you found your way back home, RG!
There’s no place like home, Dorothy.
True dat! And that’s a good thing in the midst of a pandemic.
I don’t believe it’s a geographic location.
I agree, Tammy. It’s the essence we sense within when we still the mind ~> our eternal unchanging consciousness that views the world from a bottomless reservoir of joy, peace, love, and tranquility.
Our true self . . .
A very good time for these reminders, Nancy. Excellent!
Thanks, Debra.
As I was looking for an illustration for this post, I wondered if Lewis Carroll created the Cheshire Cat and its perpetual grin to represent the fading away of ego to manifest the spirit within.
You have wonderful advice posts, Nancy!
Thanks, LM! I try to write the posts that I would enjoy reading. You know, short and sweet! 😉
I’m trying!!!!
I keep practicing too, Pam.
One thing I’ve learned ~> if I’m happy, peaceful, and content, there’s no need to make a course correction. But if I start getting sucked into the negativity trap (fears & regrets), I check in and bring my focus back to NOW, allowing peace to surface again.
