It’s Spring! April 2, 2020

Posted by nrhatch in Animals, Happiness, Sustainable Living.

Tired of thinking about the pandemic, quarantines, and TP that is MIA?

Enjoy a few Spring Smiles!

Aah . . . that’s better!

More from Colonial Williamsburg: Β Welcome, Lambs!

1. Rivergirl - April 2, 2020

We were there in December. How did I miss the sheep?!!!!

nrhatch - April 2, 2020

I don’t know . . . Β―\_(ツ)_/Β―

I guess you’ll have to go back (once they reopen). Spring is a great time to visit ~ gardens, flowers, spring lambs, flowers, colonial beverages, flowers.

2. Jill Weatherholt - April 2, 2020

Aw…I want her job! Or at least a lamb. Thanks for sharing, Nancy!

nrhatch - April 2, 2020

Aren’t they adorable? I love to see them frolicking.

3. Kate Crimmins - April 2, 2020

Working with animals is the best.

nrhatch - April 2, 2020

Yes. Animals are never too “people-y.” πŸ˜€

4. Ally Bean - April 2, 2020

Thanks for something so normal. Just love hearing all the lambies and sheepies do their *baa* thing.

nrhatch - April 2, 2020

Hearing them makes me grin!

5. joyroses13 - April 2, 2020

Awh!! Can’t help but love little lambs! Thanks for the smiles!

nrhatch - April 2, 2020

My pleasure!

6. L. Marie - April 2, 2020

That was delightful! I forwarded to a friend who owns sheep. πŸ˜€

nrhatch - April 2, 2020

Excellent! There’s a ton of interesting stuff on the CW website, but this was the only thing that made me GRIN!

7. mybeautfulthings - April 2, 2020

Just love the lambs! πŸ™‚

nrhatch - April 2, 2020

I seem to recall that you often have lambs in the field adjoining your backyard. Are there any new arrivals?

mybeautfulthings - April 2, 2020

You are right! I’ve put up a couple of videos recently of them bouncing around! Stay safe, dear Nancy πŸ™‚

nrhatch - April 2, 2020

Oh, I just checked our two of your videos. So darling! Do they stay out in the field 24/7? Or are they sheltered indoors somewhere overnight?

If anyone else wants a peek:

8. Val Boyko - April 2, 2020

So sweet! Thanks for sharing Nancy πŸ’•

nrhatch - April 2, 2020

My pleasure, Val. You might enjoy Sally’s lambs (over in the UK) too ~ link at comment #7.

9. Behind the Story - April 3, 2020

They’re so cute. I was waiting for one of them to do that crazy bouncing run that looks like they’re on springs.

nrhatch - April 3, 2020

Love watching them scamper and spring about . . . on those invisible springs.

It seemed like a good antidote to our collective dis-ease.
