At a recent Harbour Isles event, the BAR arrived on four wheels!

What’s better than a traveling bar?

How about a traveling pizza oven?

Aah . . . that is better!

Most excellent! Can I buy one of those trucks..?
🤣

nrhatch - November 11, 2019

Perfect for your next barbecue . . . or lobster bake!

2. Jill Weatherholt - November 11, 2019

Stop that pizza oven!

nrhatch - November 11, 2019

The pizzas coming out of that oven looked great ~ blistered crust and primo toppings.

3. Tippy Gnu - November 11, 2019

Judging by those trucks, it looks like they’ve been in business for awhile.

nrhatch - November 11, 2019

Yup. They’ve been around the block a time or two . . .

4. Val Boyko - November 11, 2019

Now that’s the way to travel!!

nrhatch - November 11, 2019

What a way to make friends and influence people!

Does it play a catchy tune like Mr. Softee? We have a local rib truck that is at our corn shed for summer weekends. Best ever ribs!

nrhatch - November 11, 2019

No tune . . . it has other ways to draw an audience!

That’s cute. I’ve never seen anything like that.

The portable bar was a highlight of the event for us. 😉

That 7UP slogan is from 60 years ago.

I want some pizza please! I am hungry!

nrhatch - November 12, 2019

Pizza = a real crowd pleaser.

The wait time for a pie was on the longish side so we had to satisfy ourselves by drooling as other people’s pies went by. 😉

LOL!
What part of Florida are you in again. You seem to have a lot of cool things in your area!

We live near Anna Maria Island (on the Gulf Coast between Sarasota and Tampa) ~ it’s an event friendly place. Always something to do. Plus tons of restaurants, museums, theaters, and touristy stuff.

And ~> Sand, Sea, Sun & Surf!

joyroses13 - November 12, 2019

Will have to come visit sometime! 🙂

nrhatch - November 12, 2019

“Not hurricane season” is the best time to come. 😀

Gotta love traveling food purveyors! 😀 😁 Love a good taco truck. I would love to stop at that pizza truck.

nrhatch - November 12, 2019

They didn’t serve “by the slice” and we didn’t want an entire pie so we had to live vicariously.

If your taco truck serves vegetarian black beans and rice with some good chips on the side ~> I’m in!

Cool! I love the roof and chimney on the traveling pizza oven.

nrhatch - November 13, 2019

Yes! Such a clever repurposing of vintage vehicles.

I love food trucks, but don’t think I’ve ever seen a traveling bar. The trucks are very popular and plentiful, but often so many options makes it hard for me to choose. 🙂

nrhatch - November 13, 2019

There are several microbreweries around here ~ instead of having a set menu and kitchen, they invite a rotating band of food trucks to feed patrons. Smart!
