On a recent trip to Sarasota, we swung by Sarasota Architectural Salvage.
We saw Porky Pigs, Funky Chickens, and Randy Roosters.
And Pink Flamingos and Proud Peacocks.
And a Perky Pelican!
My guess? The owner enjoys imaginatively-created creatures.
Aah . . . that’s funky!

From the nature of many of your posts, I suspect you also like imaginatively created creatures. I’m wondering what your front lawn looks like.
Good surmise, TG! No garden or lawn statuary . . . but I do have metal critters in the courtyard ~ a tropical lizard and a Maryland Blue Crab (to cover up the doorbell!).
I like metal sculpture that somewhat resembles animals! How fun!
The store had some other eclectic stuff but only the critters got captured by my camera.
