Objection! Hearsay. August 29, 2019

Through direct personal experience, we can come to know/ sense a higher power . . .  something outside us that’s also within us . . . a part of the whole.

But it’s somewhat impossible to PROVE the existence of that inner power to others unless (a) they’re willing to rely on hearsay, or (b) they experience it for themselves.

God dwells with me as me.

God is the breath within the breath.

Look deep.  The answers lie within.

Aah . . . that’s better!

That is better! What’s that in his hand, Nancy? Not the cane, the other thing…a pipe?

nrhatch - August 29, 2019

My dad took that shot in Korea many moons ago. I think it’s a pipe, but I’m not sure.

Jill Weatherholt - August 29, 2019

It’s a cool photo.

I’d like to know about that “dragon in the sky” behind him. 😯

Nancy, you couldn’t know this, but I was in a funk this morning. And then I read your post about the answers being within. That really helped. So thank you.

Oh, good. Sometimes our words land in the right ears at just the right time.

Rather profound for a Thursday morning. I’m just trying to remember which day of the week it is and here you are going all deep. 🤔

nrhatch - August 29, 2019

I try to think something profound every day. Sometimes the Tao of Pooh helps:

Pooh: What day is it?
Piglet: Today.
Pooh: Oh, good. Today is always my favorite day.

Here’s to making Today the best day of the week. 😀

Objection sustained. It’s all inadmissible evidence. And closing arguments fail, because it’s impossible to put this kind of knowledge into words.

nrhatch - August 29, 2019

Yup. I am that I am. I know what I know.

I would not expect a Korean’s hair to be that wavy. Cool picture.

nrhatch - August 29, 2019

I don’t think that’s his hair . . . I think it’s the leaves of the tree behind him. To me, it looks like he has a black bandana hiding his hair under his hat.

Ahhh! Makes sense!

There are so many different ways we can attempt to define universal energy, but most of the time I think we “know” what we “know” and being open to new ways of hearing and trusting the voice within can open up some pretty great revelations! I really like “the breath within the breath.” And I also really like that photo! 🙂 Thank you, Nancy.

nrhatch - September 1, 2019

Thanks, Debra. I agree. It’s a personal / universal experience that we can tap into . . . or not. Our inner voice may know far more than we would ever suspect.

Trusting that voice can be “revealing.” 😯
