While in the GA mountains, we hiked a portion of the Appalachian Trail.

Impressed?

Well, don’t be.

We never lost sight of the parking lot!!!

Aah . . . that’s better!

P.S.  I’ve added pics to the previous post.

Love your photos. We hiked a similar length of the Appalachian Trail when we visited North Carolina in 2016! 🙂

Great minds think alike!

l’m happy to leave the strenuous hiking and backpacking to others. I prefer short hikes (followed by cold beers)

mybeautfulthings - June 25, 2019

Sounds as if we would enjoy a hike together! 🙂

Yes! Perhaps around one of your lovely Cornish Harbors!

Some people hike the trail to get fit.
Others get fit to hike the trail.

Happy Hiking!

Doesn’t matter if you could see the parking lot… you were still on the trail, and in my book? That counts.

Thank you!

Well okay then, I’ve hiked the Pacific Crest Trail. I won’t say how much of it, but by golly I’ve hiked it. Great pics. I love the viridity.

nrhatch - June 25, 2019

Viridity = a fun word!
Verdant Viridity = Purple Prose 🙄

Tippy Gnu - June 25, 2019

Purple prose for green words.

And both tie in nicely with Joanne’s post about Newfoundland’s rainbow colors!

It counts 🙂

nrhatch - June 25, 2019

Thank you! It’s nice to get credit . . . especially since it’s the thought that counts! 😛

Joanne Sisco - June 25, 2019

Especially since I’m the person who walked a grand total of 20 minutes today. I can hardly point fingers 😉

nrhatch - June 26, 2019

We walked the beach this morning. Flat level terrain is better for my knees than mountain treks.

6. Jill Weatherholt - June 25, 2019

LOL! Loved this, Nancy! It’s so lush and green.

nrhatch - June 25, 2019

And a very different green than FL’s palms and tropical foliage.

7. L. Marie - June 26, 2019

Looks like a fun adventure, nevertheless! 😊

nrhatch - June 27, 2019

Being in the mountains was quite a change of pace . . . especially as we huffed and puffed up inclines!

Hiking is hiking no matter the distance! 🙂
Nice pics!

nrhatch - July 6, 2019

Good . . . we just got back from a “hike” on the beach. Easy & breezy. Perfect for all the 4th of July holiday gatherings.

joyroses13 - July 6, 2019

Ahhh! A beach hike! Let me just close my eyes and click my heels my 3x. 🙂

Come on down!
