Good point, Jill. That said, I never eat while I’m reading. And I never read while I’m eating. So the more I read, the less I weigh.

Plus I get lots of exercise from turning the pages!

I used to read on my exercise bike for just that reason . . . but now that I’m riding a “real bike” around in traffic, I don’t dare crack a book. ๐Ÿ˜€

That works, especially for those of you who live in the Frozen North where the water temps hover in the 60’s all summers. But down here in the Sweltering South, a dip in the pool can be mighty refreshing on the 113th day featuring temps in the 90’s.

Oh, wait . . . did you mean you’ll just skinny dip?! ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

Yes! And we are also experts at De-Cluttering all the S-T-U-F-F we should never have bought in the first place . . . but Marie Kondo is glad that we are experts at “overconsumption.”

Quitting smoking caused my weight to shift in the wrong direction. I would like to shed those 10 pounds before they get “too comfortable.” ๐Ÿ˜›

Havenโ€™t eaten a donut in years. This vacation is doing me a world of good. Lots of beach walking every day.

So glad that you’re having a good vacation!!!

To celebrate our anniversary this year, we are going to trade our beach walks for waterfall walks in the mountains . . . unless we get tired. If we get tired, we’ll just sit on a boulder to watch the water flow past.

I’m always tuned in to the “diet dilemma,” but I’m a lifetime Weight Watcher and I find it works for me. I still go to meetings quite regularly for good maintenance tips. I don’t get too comfortable, though, as it’s really easy to put weight back on. ๐Ÿ™‚

Trying to get rid of unwanted pounds (and keep them off!) has been part of my life since my teens. No wild fluctuations, but day to day maintenance is required if I don’t want things to spiral out of control. Right now, I just want to shed the 10 pounds I gained when I quit smoking. THEY are NOT cooperating!!!
