Juggling An Overbooked Schedule March 19, 2019

My schedule is overbooked this week
I’m walking down both sides of the street
I’m multi-tasking as fast as I can
And juggling three things with only one hand

I’ve looked high and I’ve looked low
No more time in sight . . . something has to go
So if my comments are few and far between
It’s because my “free time” has become quite lean

Aah . . . that’s better!

Life.
It does tend to get in the way of blogging now and then…
πŸ˜‰

Life can be quite insistent at times ~> Now! Do It Now! 😯

Whew! I hope you have your roller skates, Nancy! Keep moving. πŸ™‚

nrhatch - March 19, 2019

Except for the taxes, most of the time crunch stems from “fun stuff” . . . so I’ll grin and bear it! πŸ™„

Way to prioritize. Blogging is way down on my list, also.

nrhatch - March 19, 2019

For the next few days, I’ve got to hit the ground running ~> no time to linger over a cup of COFFEE while perusing blogs! πŸ˜›

Tippy Gnu - March 19, 2019

No coffee? Sounds to me like this busyness is going to help you live longer.

nrhatch - March 20, 2019

I bet it’s not the coffee that’s poison ~> it’s the lingering over it, the dilly-dallying, the hob-mobbing. Far better to get up and get out by hitting the ground running.

So . . . off I go!

So let me see if the sense of this I see β€”
It’s that your free time has become rather pricy!

nrhatch - March 19, 2019

It has indeed, Col ~> Guests coming. Menus to plan. Meals to make. Taxes to file. Appointments to keep.

Lucky for me, the time crunch will be of short duration.

colonialist - March 20, 2019

Short of time for a short time. I see β€” I think!

nrhatch - March 20, 2019

Well put. And put well.

You took the words right out of my mouth!

nrhatch - March 19, 2019

When I do have a few minutes to myself (as I do at the moment), I’ll pop in to see what’s going on.

Things should be on a more even keel in a week or so.

6. Ally Bean - March 19, 2019

What! Are you saying that blogging is not your life and that there are other things more important than blogging? I cannot even… 😳

nrhatch - March 19, 2019

I know. It’s a shocking realization for me too. But there it is.

7. anotherday2paradise - March 19, 2019

You should have been twins, Nancy. πŸ˜…

nrhatch - March 19, 2019

Two of me might be a bit much for folks to handle, Sylvia. πŸ˜€

I know the feeling right now! It must be some kind of peculiar planetary alignment 😏 The next 6 weeks look like a whirlwind!

Let’s hope we have the energy and sense of humour to get through it intact πŸ™‚

nrhatch - March 20, 2019

Yes! Those are two key ingredients for life balance ~ when my sense of humor flags, I throw in the towel.

9. L. Marie - March 20, 2019

You said so eloquently how I’ve been feeling! Good for you, Nancy! Do what you need to do!

nrhatch - March 21, 2019

Our guests arrive at noon today . . . and then we’re off to the races!

10. Tiny - March 23, 2019

I can relate! Would love to find some time hiding somewhere πŸ™‚

nrhatch - March 24, 2019

Time here has been in even shorter supply than anticipated. But we’re having great weather and fun chats . . . so it’s all good.

(As long as I don’t think about the accumulating backlog).

Hope you find a supply of “free time” around the next corner.

Tiny - March 24, 2019

Tomorrow I’m going to the ‘timeless’ Grand Canyon to look for it πŸ™‚

nrhatch - March 24, 2019

There’s a Grand Plan! Have fun . . . time permitting! πŸ˜›
