Hocus Pocus . . . Lost My Focus! January 9, 2019

While wandering around Toon Lagoon, we bumped into Hildegarde who had bumped into a light pole after what must have been a rather bumpy ride.

Hocus Pocus . . . she musta lost her focus!

And so did this pilot!

He going to need a good stiff drink after that landing!

Looks like he’s come to the right place!

Aah . . . that’s better!

At least Hildegard is still smiling ๐Ÿ™‚

I can’t tell … is the plane supposed to be there like that? I assume it is.

nrhatch - January 9, 2019

It is. It’s part of the Margaritaville outpost . . . you know, for people who can’t wait until they reach Margitaville to reach for a Margarita. ๐Ÿ˜€

This post sums up how I’m feeling this week. ๐Ÿ˜ฆ Great pictures, Nancy!

Sorry your week has not been up to snuff. Maybe the Eagles wild card win played havoc with your GPS? I checked with Hildegarde and she says to tap your heels together twice while chanting:

Hocus Pocus . . . let me regain my focus!

Good luck! Hope that does the trick without you having to run into any stationary objects!

Jill Weatherholt - January 9, 2019

I think you might be right about that win, Nancy! That was crazy. Hopefully they’ll have a repeat performance this Sunday.

We’ll be cheering for them!

Maybe that pilot had a good stiff drink BEFORE the landing.

joyroses13 - January 9, 2019

LOL! I agree!

nrhatch - January 9, 2019

Alcohol may have played a part in the pilot’s precarious positioning of the plane.

Tippy Gnu - January 9, 2019

I wonder if his name was Peter, who picked the Piper Cub to pilot.

nrhatch - January 9, 2019

I expect it might have been Pippi (of Longstocking fame) ~ but I didn’t see her, her horse, or her monkey. I’ll check again next visit. She doesn’t have a pilot’s license, but she’s never been a rule follower ~> she flies by the seat of her pants!

Perhaps Hildegarde already visited the same place that the pilot went to after landing that plane. ๐Ÿ˜

nrhatch - January 9, 2019

That . . . or maybe she’s been cooking up a cauldron of her special brew again AFTER the doctor told her to dial it back a notch.

5. Kate Crimmins - January 9, 2019

Hopefully they were both supposed to be where they are.

nrhatch - January 9, 2019

Yup. All part of the theme park scene.

Kate Crimmins - January 9, 2019

That’s good because the airplane was a little scary.

nrhatch - January 9, 2019

The park provides plenty of thrills and chills. It’s best to avoid the spills!

6. Debra - January 10, 2019

What a beautiful setting! The sky is gorgeous and the lagoon inviting. I’d like to have a seat and just people watch. ๐Ÿ™‚

nrhatch - January 10, 2019

It was a picture perfect day, Debra . . . with a balmy breeze and temps in the mid 70’s. The park has some terrific spots to sit and watch the world go by ~> just keep a look out for Hildegarde so she doesn’t crash land in your lap!

7. Tiny - January 10, 2019

Looks like an interesting place, Nancy! Pilots can steer right into the bar ๐Ÿ˜€

nrhatch - January 10, 2019

Exactly! And once there they can order . . . a kamikaze! ๐Ÿ˜€
