Space July 19, 2018

Posted by nrhatch in Life Balance, Magick & Mystery, Mindfulness.

As we navigate through our days, our senses focus on things and our minds on thoughts.

But we can switch our focus from things to the space between things.

Anywhere there are two or more things, we can begin to note the space between them ~ between sights, between sounds, between clouds, and between passing thoughts.

Once you find the space, peer into it and see what emerges.

Aah . . . that’s better!

This is beautiful ❤

Glad you enjoyed this space. 😀

Sky watching is one of the best ways for me to relax…besides watching my hummies and puzzling, of course. 🙂

Having several relaxation methods pays dividends. Watching the space between thoughts works well for me. Along with beach walks, painting, cooking, and . . . eating! 😀

I hear it’s the final frontier, where no man has gone before. I’ll try beaming myself there when I need to relax.

Remember to set your tasers to *stun* . . .

Love it!
I love looking at clouds and seeing the vastness of the sky!

Dark clouds rolled in this morning . . . chasing us out of the pool by dripping, dribbling, and drooling on us! 😀

Like everyone else here, I like watching the clouds roll by. When it’s clear enough outside to see them. There’s much to be gained by musing on what isn’t going on between them.

Focusing on “space” provides an interesting perspective shift.

Clouds capturing nature and our thoughts … such beautiful reminder to come home. Thank you Nancy 💛

Glad you enjoyed, Val. We timed our beach walk perfectly this morning . . . in the space between showers!

So lovely!!!

Thanks, Carolyn. Focusing on *space* makes everything seem more expansive and abundant.

You are welcome! 🙂

Some philosophical musings to start my day 🙂

nrhatch - July 21, 2018

That + a cup of coffee or tea = PERFECT!

Such beautiful images to punctuate an important emphasis, Nancy. Just recently I heard a talk on this subject and the image was of building a fire and leaving space between the rocks or coals–fuel! Too cramped, and the fire won’t sustain. I really think this is important. I love that last photo! Wow!

Fire is a good example of the need for space. Another good example is music ~ the space between the notes is essential!

Seeing that smiley face in the clouds thrilled me.
