nrhatch - July 14, 2018

Thanks, Tiny. The view is awesome . . . until the sudden and sharp descent of the downhill run!

good quotes!

nrhatch - July 14, 2018

I’ve shared them before, but it’s been years . . . amazing how fast life flows past.

Have a fun weekend!

Love them all, but especially the one about how “if you view the world the same at 50 as you did at 20….” ! Have a great weekend!

nrhatch - July 14, 2018

That’s a great reminder that change is to be expected and good for us . . . if we don’t want to stagnate.

Have a fun weekend!

I always loved the Armstrong quote. Happy birthday, Nancy! I hope it’s been a wonderful day for you. This is my birthday month, too. 🙂

I LOVE the Muhammed Ali quote! Wow! I was away for a few days to a family reunion and couldn’t help but look around and see how my entire family has aged. Me, too, of course. LOL! But the “takeaway” was how much we have grown in many ways as well. Old tensions have fallen away and many “issues” that once were important, just simply aren’t any more. Age and time can offer healing…even if the bodies don’t fully cooperate. 🙂 Happy BIG birthday, Nancy! A full life is good!

Sounds like you had a good time catching up & that your family has grown in all the “right” ways ~ family reunions can be great fun (especially if wee ones attend).

We had a family reunion the week before dad died. Perfect timing! I expect he just wanted to see “everyone” one more time.

I like the last two quotes a lot ~ lots of wisdom in few words.

I’m very late to this party, but I hope your new year has been good so far and is the best one yet 🙂

nrhatch - July 21, 2018

Thanks, Joanne! You’re not late. I’m still “celebrating” (in a manner of speaking). 😀

Joanne Sisco - July 21, 2018

Those are the best birthdays! Celebrate long and hard 🙂

nrhatch - July 21, 2018

Will do!
