Joy Roses shared this nugget on Nuggets of Gold:
As I pondered the image, these thoughts came to mind:
All things must pass.
Let go and go with the flow.
Every drop is part of the whole.
Water flows over and around obstacles in its path.
You can never step into the same river twice.
What thoughts came to you as you watched the river run?
Aah . . . that’s wisdom!

Good one! The NOW is always unfolding . . .
I love your “water flows over and around obstacles in its path!” 🙂 Thanks for sharing! Can never have too much of Pooh wisdom. 🙂
Even soft flowing streams will erode the hardest boulders.
🙂
I love to watch flowing water. What a great quote, Nancy!
When we lived in NC, we loved to head to the Blue Ridge mountains so we could hike to waterfalls and watch the rivers run.
Here, we watch the turquoise Gulf. 😀

Ah… love the Tao of Pooh
He’s quite wise . . . for a “silly old bear.” 😀
So peaceful!
Watching water can be mesmerizing.
Yes says the pond person!
Exactly what I was thinking. 😀
I loved the wisdom in the book, The Tao of Pooh. I remember reading it and realizing that I am a lot like Pooh bear. I need to find my copy and re-read it to see if it still resonates. Thanks.
I’m not sure this quote is in that book, but it reminded me of the Tao of Pooh. Enjoy your re-read, Ms. Bean Bear!
I love this from every possible angle, Nancy. Sometimes all the wisdom in the world comes at us if we just stop long enough to watch a “the river slipping by.” Perfect!
Sounds like you enjoyed its “relevance” as much as I did!
