A White Wedding February 13, 2018

Posted by nrhatch in Animals, Art & Photography, Humor.

During the International Festival of the Arts, we stumbled upon a white wedding in the Mexican pavilion.

Now, I’m sure no one here would accuse Mickey of marketing manipulation, but the choreography did seem designed to coincide with the recent release of Coco.

Nevertheless, we loved the simple yet elegant maid of honor.

And her escort, the best man . . . a/k/a man’s best friend.

We found him fetching!

Aah . . . that’s better!

Whoa! That best man shouldn’t have any trouble touching his nose with that tongue.

I know, right?! 😀

2. Ally Bean - February 13, 2018

Those are cool bean. You find the best things at Epcot. I want that cat.

nrhatch - February 13, 2018

Our annual passes expire tomorrow ~> there might be another Epcot post (or two) in the pipeline, but after that we’ll have to look elsewhere for our entertainment and amusement. 😀

I loved that cat too!

Perhaps the dog with the bone is to remind us that romance is all about the thrill of the chase.

Good thinking, TG. He might also be sending the message that a bone in the mouth is better than 2 in the pet shop window. 😀

Very cool!

nrhatch - February 13, 2018

I hope your kitties will approve!

Kate Crimmins - February 13, 2018

They do!

That’s a stylish couple! But the prize goes to the entourage 🙂

You’ll have to get a top hat (and top cat) for Dylan!

I think you’re right about Disney’s marketing, but at least it’s truly appealing. We loved “Coco.” My 86-year old mother went with us along with a 10 and 8 year old and we all enjoyed it thoroughly. That’s quite an age spread. 🙂

I’m looking forward to seeing Coco (on DVD). And The Greatest Showman. Both seem to be getting “2 thumbs up” from blogging friends who are movie goers.

Smiling … thinking about the speeches …. ❣️

nrhatch - February 13, 2018

Ha! Now you’ve got me thinking about them ~> “Today’s been a great day. I got up and went for a walk. Back at home, I had a biscuit, then a back scratch, then a nap. And, best of all, I got to be bone bearer for this wedding.” 😀

8. Barb - February 13, 2018

I have to admit, I’m envious of an annual pass to Epcot. Wowzer!

nrhatch - February 14, 2018

Our passes expire TODAY. 😦

But we put them to good use ~> 6 visits to Epcot, 4 to the Magic Kingdom, and 3x each to Animal Kingdom & Hollywood Studios.

9. L. Marie - February 14, 2018

I still haven’t seen Coco. I’ve heard that it’s great.

nrhatch - February 14, 2018

I look forward to seeing Coco and . . . The Greatest Showman.

10. Behind the Story - February 15, 2018

I loved Coco. Bring a handkerchief or two. Or three. It’s very touching and sweet. I think I blubbered out loud.

Sounds like a movie that touched your core ~ the best movies do. Glad you remembered your hankies!

Thanks for the recommendation.
