At Epcot’s International Festival of the Arts, we ran into some edible art at Pop Eats!
The sign advertised modern cuisine inspired by modern art . . . including Pop’T Art on miniature easels.
We opted for the Almond Frangipane Cake layered with Raspberry Jam and Callebaut Belgian Chocolate.
It was almost too pretty to eat.
Aah . . . that’s better!
That’s definitely too pretty to eat, Nancy! Perhaps I’ll just close my eyes. 🙂
That’s the ticket!
* They did it! Fly, Eagles, Fly! 😀
Yes they did! Derek is thrilled for his team. 🙂
Much more interesting to watch than many Super Bowls which are a “foregone conclusion” long before the 4th quarter.
Look delicious! I’m glad you have a photo to remember it.
Even if I’m never inclined to recreate a multi-tiered and multi-colored cake, it was delicious ~> reminiscent of marzipan. 😀
Glad you got the photo before you ate it! Looks yummy!
Sometimes I’m too busy eating to remember the camera, but Pop Eats seemed like a Photo Op.
* They did it! Go Eagles!
I remember a few times you have DESCRIBED in words what you ate because…well…you were hungry!
Yes. That has happened. 😀
Yummy! Glad you got a photo before the eating began. 🙂
I’d never had Frangipane before ~ lovely almond taste, like marzipan. 😀
Hubby’s favourite. 🙂
He’s got good taste!
I think I got a toothache from looking at the photo.
Eating super sweet treats (i.e., fudge!) hurts my teeth too, TG ~> “Ow! Too sweet! Too sweet!” 😀
I agree, it looks too pretty to be eaten! Have a great week!
Agreed. But we ate it anyway. 😀
Pretty food that makes me wonder why I’m eating a beige turkey on ww sandwich. I need more color– in my food and landscape.
Next time . . . put your beige sandwich on a brightly colored plate. Maybe one that looks like the painting in your Avatar!
Wow! Very unique–and tooth-achingly beautiful and I hope delicious! 🙂
It was delish . . . and not too sweet. (Although I did let BFF eat the majority since his sweet tooth is a trained professional.)
