A Sage Scarecrow December 21, 2017

Posted by nrhatch in Gratitude, Humor, Life Balance, Travel & Leisure.

While wandering around Hollywood Studios, we stopped to enjoy a Fried Green Tomato sandwich and fries at Rosie’s Cafe.

Rosie’s scary (and sage) scarecrow got my attention!

It reminded me that we are all on a one way journey!

So we might as well take chances!

So we did ~> riding the Hollywood Tower of Terror two times!

We didn’t let the hotel’s sloppy housekeeping keep us away . . .

Here’s how we looked mid-flight!

Emboldened and bolstered by our bravery, we rode the Rock ‘n Roll Coaster before calling it a night!

Aah . . . that’s better!

You’re more brave than I am, Nancy! Looks like a fun time.😄

We both enjoyed the Tower of Terror. The rock ‘n’ roll coaster was OK ~ glad we did it, wouldn’t do it again.

I remember that elevator. Argh!

The Tower of Terror is a love it or hate it kind of ride.

Several coasters at Disney fell in the 2nd category ~> e.g., Space Mountain was just too jarring on our necks and backs (and not thrilling enough to counter-balance the risk of whiplash).

Yeah, not doing Tower of Terror again. It’s a once is enough kind of thing. I don’t like to smack my body around so I rarely do rides more jarring than “It’s a Small World.” 🙂

I’m partial to Peter Pan’s Flight over NeverNeverLand ~ a calm oasis in the midst of the busy park. We also like the People Mover which just floats around a track ~ calm and relaxing. 😀

Woo! Go, Nancy, go!

WHEEEEE!!!!! Have a Merry, LM!

I couldn’t get myself to ride the Hollywood Tower of Terror in our Disney Parks. I’m chicken! You guys are brave. It’s been replaced by something else now, so i don’t have to confront my fear now. LOL! And fried green tomato sandwich? Oh wow! Where can I get one of those!!!

I’ve seen fried green tomato sandwiches on a few menus lately. Maybe it’ll be the new “thang.”
