trackback

As we toured the parks, especially Epcot, we paused to admire the gardens and topiaries.

Here’s Tigger giving an impromptu pep talk to passers-by . . .

We always enjoy his Tiggeriffic enthusiasm.

And here’s Rabbit harvesting carrots for dinner . . .

While Piglet catches a ride on Eeyore’s back . . .

And Pooh holds fast to the string of his ephemeral balloon . . .

Near the entrance, we watched Donald marching Huey, Dewey, and Louie off for garden chores.

And we noticed that Figment’s got a primo viewing spot to enjoy the Spring gardens.

On the other side of the lagoon, Timon and Pumba espouse the notion of Hakuna Matata . . .

No worries!

Unless you sneak up behind Pumba’s behind and get a whiff of you don’t wanna know what!

And my favorite . . . Lady and the Tramp about to share a plate of spaghetti in Italy.

Aah  . . . that’s better!

This looks just like our yard . . . Only different!

2. Tippy Gnu - May 29, 2017

How do they do that? I guess with pruning sheers and a whole lot of time. Nice pics, Nancy!

nrhatch - May 29, 2017

Patience and practice!

Just beautiful!

The garden show is an awesome time to visit.

4. L. Marie - May 29, 2017

Love those!

Oddly enough, I just read a picture book called The Night Gardener, which is out a man who cuts trees into the shapes of animals for the amusement of a neighborhood. XD

nrhatch - May 29, 2017

What fun!

5. Rainee - May 29, 2017

They are amazing Nancy. I love the idea of a fun filled garden – just have to come up with a theme for mine (and my un-green fingers).

nrhatch - May 29, 2017

Good luck coming up with a fun theme.

Disney does great yard work!

11. diannegray - May 30, 2017

Wow – I find it hard enough trying to control my out-of-control garden! This must take a lot of time and patience and it looks fantastic xxx

nrhatch - May 31, 2017

The gardens are a treat! And far beyond my abilities as a gardener.

12. sarsm - May 31, 2017

They are amazing.

nrhatch - May 31, 2017

We enjoyed all the SMILING animated figures.

13. Ally Bean - May 31, 2017

You know, many people hate on Disney, but I don’t think they really see what’s there. These are all cool topiaries. Thanks for sharing your photos here.

nrhatch - May 31, 2017

Disney has lots to offer . . . But not always the THRILLS that people want from Amusement Parks. Instead, there are lots of LITTLE DETAILS that make it stand out.

Ally Bean - May 31, 2017

Yes, I enjoy it, but the haters are quite vocal about how hateful it is. I don’t get it…

nrhatch - May 31, 2017

Someone probably told them what to think. Damn sheep.

14. Debra - June 1, 2017

I love Lady and the Tramp! Disney gardens everywhere are simply exceptional! When we had our Disney passes I’d go just to walk and admire the seasonal gardens. I’ve fantasized about being a grounds-person at Disneyland. But do they work at night? I’ve never seen one in action! 😊

nrhatch - June 1, 2017

We saw a few watering the fields of flowers one day . . . The rest of the team must be invisible!

15. Anne Lene @ MinimalistSometimes - June 2, 2017

ahhhh… Tigger has been a favorite of mine for years.. thank’s for sharing 🙂
