The Pizza Project is still going strong.
So are we.
That got me thinking . . .
Would it even be possible to O.D. on pizza?
I doubt it, but let’s ask Luigi!
“Hey, Luigi!”
“Hey, my little pizza paisano . . . que pasa?”
“Luigi, have you ever met anyone who ate too much pizza?”
“No. Datsa, how you say . . . an oxymoron.”
“Thanks, Luigi!”
So, there you go . . . there’s no such thing as too much pizza. Mangia!
Aah . . . that’s better!

Pizza ❤ the most delicious food in this universe
We are B~I~G fans!
There is never too much pizza.
Pizza => a wonderful way to transform a few simple ingredients into a delicious dinner!
Oh my…that is my kind of pizza…with globs of cheese! 🙂
We like ours top-heavy with gooey chewy cheese too!
It’s the only way to go. 🙂
The pie we picked up last night was good . . . but it would have been great if they hadn’t skimped on the C~H~E~E~S~E!
Absolutely!! Especially when it looks as good at the one in the photo Nancy 😋
Next time you’re down on Longboat, you’ll have to try Rise Pies at the UTC Mall. The one in the photo is a white pie, heavy on Hot Peppers, Crushed Red Pepper, and C~H~E~E~S~E.
Yummy!!!
We’ll meet you there!
I see you took a bite out of your Rise Pie!
Rise Pies are hard to resist! ❤
Last night we got a pie from De Losa's pizza in Madeira Beach (at John's Pass Village) ~ turns out it is no longer our favorite pizza in Florida . . . but it's still pretty yummy.
Favorite pizza in Florida?
The top contenders (to date): Oma’s Pizza, Rise Pies, and Bella Mia Pizza. All different. All delicious!
We have a pizza maker and have it at least once a week! Now I can relax about it after your post Nancy 🙂
Exactly! I make a mean spanakopita pie ~> topped with sauteed spinach, onion, garlic, and feta . . . with a squeeze of lemon.
A bit healthier than the Rise Pie featured in this post.
Such a thing as too much pizza? The very idea!
Yes! Very counter-intuitive!
There is no such thing as too much pizza. It is (and always has been) my favorite food surpassing steaks and lobster. A number of guys friends referred to me a cheap date because pizza and beer was my fav. I keep a package of naan bread in the freezer for emergencies. I can make one with meat toppings for my husband and a veggie delite for me but fresh tossed is my favorite.
I’m with you! Pizza, pasta, and C~H~O~C~O~L~A~T~E (for dessert).
We’d get along just fine!
Yes! With or without the umbrella drinks!
I’ve never met anyone who didn’t like pizza.
When one of our nieces was younger, she preferred spaghetti to pizza ~> she got over it! Now pizza wins for her, hands down.
Hubby ordered pizza at ‘Mamma Mia’s’ last night and it was so huge that we now have three quarters of it waiting in the fridge for lunch today. Luigi looks like he’s eaten lots of pizza in his life. 🙂
We’re like you and your guy, Sylvia. A large pie lasts us for 3-4 meals ~ we enjoy having a nice big slice of cheesey goodness with veggies, fruit or salad on the side.
I agree, no such thing as too much pizza, and that one looks amazing! I have discovered that I make it at home about 3x a month! Lol
Keep on kneading!
I LOVE pizza!!!! Yum!
The ultimate in fast food ~> a slice . . . thatsa nice!
Wow, that pizza looks good! I want your project, Nancy 🙂
It’s the BEST project I ever dreamed up, Carol!
PIZZA ROCKS!
I make my own, they are so much tastier. Friday night is our pizza night with a nice glass of red – couldn’t get much better!
Growing up, my mom made pizza one night a week. A real treat, especially since we got to eat in front of the TV ~ watching Perry Mason solve murder mysteries mid-trial.
He’s the reason I became an attorney.
So, I guess I owe a lot to PIZZA!
Really? I loved Perry Mason too, but not enough to make me want to be a lawyer!
Let’s just say he “clued me in” to my intuitive inclinations.
Being an attorney was a perfect fit for me. Until it wasn’t.
I didn’t have pizza until I was in college. It was a great little place. Even the crust was cheesy. I never found crust that good ever again. (I admit, maybe I built it up a bit in my memory.)
Haha! I’m not surprised you built it up in your memory, Nicki.
” . . . at that moment, all the uncertainties and vagaries of life coalesced. Biting into the pizza’s cheesy crust provided an epiphany of the senses. Sense and sensibility.”
Every Friday night here is Pizza Night, built with whatever the farm is providing at the time. Last night it was wild mushrooms. I never get tired of pizza!
Here’s to enjoying pizza . . . with no fear of accidental overdose!
Pizza in all forms! My daughter makes the most delicious vegetarian pizzas on the grill! I make an absolute pig out of myself…and I can’t help it. Nor do I apologize! LOL! 🙂
What a great way for vegetarians to keep grillin’ and chillin’ ~ a pizza cookout! Or, perhaps, a pizza pig out!
I love pizza. It has it all carbs, protein, veggies, dairy, and sometimes fruit. What’s not to like?
Pizza is well rounded!
As am I due to pizzas.
Haha! Better than being a square!
