Beneath The Breeze November 17, 2015

_0001cOne night, I saw beneath the breeze

Beyond the leaves
To an ocean of shimmering cells within

Another world revealed

Nothing stagnant
Everything vibrant and alive

Awake and aware

Dancing to the beat of the Eternal Now

Aah . . . that’s better!

When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be.

~ Lao Tzu

Love this Nancy. I was about to look for some Tao wisdom to share this morning too. It’s a good time to remember we are part of so much more beneath the surface.

nrhatch - November 17, 2015

Thanks, Val. Seeing a glimpse beyond the veil is so surreal. To the Tao.

2. Don - November 17, 2015

Beautiful Nancy. It is all about the now and perception. That shimmering world is there to see. It’s simply a question of how we look and perceive.

nrhatch - November 17, 2015

The magick of the moment mesmerized ~> a sublime experience as solids became shimmers of dancing light.

3. wheremyfeetare - November 17, 2015

Thanks for this morning’s inspiration, Nancy. Always trying to be awake and aware. Present moment, only moment.

nrhatch - November 17, 2015

Here’s to dancing to the beat of the Eternal Now!

Wonderful share, Nancy. “Dancing to the beat of the Eternal Now” sounds just perfect. 🙂

nrhatch - November 17, 2015

Thanks, Sylvia. Sometimes we just feel so “plugged in” that all of life is a dance!

My pleasure, Nancy. 🙂

8. L. Marie - November 17, 2015

That’s beautiful!!

nrhatch - November 17, 2015

Thanks, Linda. After that night (full of amazing “in sight”), I jotted down a few thoughts and left them to linger longer.

Last week the rest of the lines drifted in to join them.

9. mybeautfulthings - November 17, 2015

‘Dancing to the beat of eternal now’ – perfect philosophy to live by. Live each moment and appreciate the now-ness. 🙂

nrhatch - November 17, 2015

So much better than “missing the moment.”

10. jannatwrites - November 17, 2015

So peaceful 🙂

nrhatch - November 17, 2015

Thanks, Janna. We can all use a bit more peace in our lives, eh?

11. Carol Ferenc - November 17, 2015

Carol Ferenc - November 17, 2015

Yay for joy ~ and the dance!

12. BunKaryudo - November 17, 2015

A little bit of ancient wisdom goes a long way. Of course, if I let go of what I am these days, my tummy hangs over my belt.

nrhatch - November 18, 2015

Hang loose, Bun!

BunKaryudo - November 18, 2015

Getting looser by the day, it seems. 🙂

nrhatch - November 18, 2015

If you get an outfit like the one in the photo . . . you can loosen the belt as much as you want!

BunKaryudo - November 18, 2015

I’ll have to get myself one. 🙂

nrhatch - November 18, 2015

Mine’s on order!

13. Tiny - November 17, 2015

nrhatch - November 18, 2015

15. sufilight - November 18, 2015

This is so beautiful, Nancy. A glimpse into what it’s like to touch the sacred moment fully awake and aware, not lost in the chatter of the mind.

p.s. I shared your post in Pinterest and FB.

nrhatch - November 18, 2015

Thanks, Marie. Here’s to many more marvelous, magical, mystical moments!

16. Eileen - November 18, 2015

Awesome. Glimpses of grace kindle fires that can make the lame dance and mute sing. Glory be!

nrhatch - November 18, 2015

Thanks for your enthusiasm, Eileen. Let’s dance on!

17. Debra - November 19, 2015

i can think of nothing more lovely for this week’s inspiration! “Awake and aware” covers a lot of ground! ox

nrhatch - November 19, 2015

Yes! Here’s to facing the day awake and aware, with calm reservoirs of strength and courage at the ready.

18. diannegray - November 19, 2015

Just perfect, Nancy. Cheers to the eternal now!

19. reocochran - November 22, 2015

This was ethereal and zen-like, Nancy. The quote by Lao Tzu was enlightening, too. The Eternal Now sounds like a teenagers daydream, though. 😀

nrhatch - November 22, 2015

The Eternal Now would be a great name for a bar . . . or a band.
