It’s Halloween! October 31, 2015

Don’t be S~C~A~R~E~D!
But beware of things that go *BUMP* in the night!
If you see ghosts, ghouls, or goblins . . .
Or other gruesome sights . . .
Just keep rocking and rolling!
Aah . . . that’s better!
Happy Halloween, Nancy. π
Hope you had a ghost of a time!
Anyone reading this, who would like to read a scary tale for Halloween, just log on to:
Happy Halloween!
Yesterday at Church, the Bible reading was Ezekiel 37: “The Valley of Dry Bones”. It’s one very spooky story; and truly fits the Halloween Theme.
Aah . . . the valley of the living dead. π
Have a fun one!! π»ππΎπΉπ½ππ
Wow! You got the whole line up there!
Happy Halloween, Nancy! The kids are awesome π
Great costumes for wee ones! All the rage this year. I didn’t dress up but I did dye my hair PURPLE!
Good way to celebrate the holiday, Nancy!
We didn’t get a great shot . . . but a hint of the purple comes through here:
Happy Halloween, Nancy! I’ve never seen a beer drinking pumpkin. π
I’ve only seen the one! Hope you had a fun day full of TREATS, no TRICKS!
I was chuckling at the little toddlers in old people’s clothes with miniature walkers! This was hysterical! Hope yours was an amazing day and evening, Nancy. Mom turns 87 on All Saints Day.β‘ Hope your family have a pleasant Sunday. π
My favorite part of Halloween is seeing Tiny Tots in costumes, whether they’re grinning from ear to ear or (like those too) seeming a bit befuddled.
Happy 87th to your mom.
I hope your day was spooky enough! I love the kids with walkers, hilarious!
They ROCKED those ROLLERS!
More smiles.
I’m late, but hope you had a HAPPY Halloween! We did the Missouri Wine Trail and got all tangled up with family yesterday. The guys did a bit of that beer drinking like the pumpkin!
Sounds like you’ve been busy. We had a great weekend ~ Happy Hour at the Chart House (on Longboat Key), a Patchouli concert on The Deck at Perico Island, a symphonic band concert last night, and . . . I dyed my hair PURPLE!
I’ve always wanted to do something like that and now I can cross “dye hair purple” off my Bucket List.
What a cute couple.
They’re twins!
Haaa – I love the Jack-o-lantern (is that what it’s called?) with the beer bottle π
Carved pumpkins become jack-o-lanterns when hollowed out with a light placed inside.
I think the beer dowsed that guy’s lantern!
My goodness, I’m used to it with police officers, but now even the seniors are getting younger looking.
OMG, you’re right! A very disturbing turn of events.
I was at my sister’s house for Halloween. The best part was watching her two-year-old grandson gather his courage and offer the basket full of candy to the scary visitors.
That would have been the best part of my Halloween too. It’s fun to watch tiny tots muster up the courage to join in our odd rituals.
What adorable little “old” people!
Halloween in my neck of the woods was very wet and gloomy. The kids probably had an hour to trick or treat.
Trick or treating in fog and mist is fine but it’s not much fun when rain soaks costumes and threatens to turn the candy soggy.
I’m so glad somebody goes all out for Halloween. I’m just lazy. It’s people like you who make it fun.
We don’t do much for Halloween any more . . . but I love seeing how other people celebrate and decorate and costumize.
The kids/seniors with their walkers are great. Maybe the best Halloween custumes I’ve seen. π
That shot (of twins in Dayton Ohio) went viral last year. This year, the twins went as Bikers:

That last photo cracked me up. Great costumes!
The twins look a bit bemused by it all.
I was sure I’d commented on this post, but I don’t see that I did. I absolutely love those little ones in their walkers! They are just adorable and the costume is hilarious! I did not see this last yearβ¦in fact, originally I wondered if they were in your family! People are so clever with costumes. Fun hair color! Maybe you should keep it. π
Your comment makes me wonder: how often do I think I have commented on a post . . . when I haven’t? Sometimes I close the page without clicking “post comment” ~> Bye Bye Birdie.
The twins are hysterical as bikers this year . . . but their “senior moment” costumes are priceless and precious.
The purple hair dye was gloopy, gloppy, and messy to apply (like applying tempera paint) . . . virtually impossible to style (like combing through matted blood) . . . and hard, sticky, and flaky when set.
In this case, once was definitely enough. So I’ll cross “Dye Hair Purple” off my Bucket List for good.
Love that you died your hair purple Nancy.
It made me feel positively WITCHY!
