Enjoy a short walk into the wilderness to hopscotch over rocks and admire the magical mystical mist:

Aah . . . that’s better!

1. Silver in the Barn - October 25, 2014

Other than the FOUR times I had to get up to let dogs out and let dogs in, I enjoyed every second of this. What a beautiful thing to wake up to!

nrhatch - October 25, 2014

Can you blame the dogs for wanting to go out when there are so many magical mysteries to explore?

Or for wanting to come back in and see YOU?

Silver in the Barn - October 25, 2014

Well, when you put it that way, LOL!!

nrhatch - October 25, 2014

Loved your post today, Barb. What wonderful pups.

2. Espirational - October 25, 2014

Very nice!

nrhatch - October 25, 2014

Glad you enjoyed. I want to hopscotch on those boulders.

3. Don - October 25, 2014

Imagine if we were all filled with that kind of philosophy. Beautiful video, Nancy.

nrhatch - October 25, 2014

Sometimes we just need to open our eyes and take advantage of the opportunities presented to us.

4. granny1947 - October 25, 2014

Oh man that was so sweet.

nrhatch - October 25, 2014

Glad you enjoyed, Kathy. Have a relaxing day today. Keep breathing.

5. Grannymar - October 25, 2014

Lovely. Just like when going for a walk with a young child, you see the world through the child’s eyes. I love being five all over again.

nrhatch - October 25, 2014

Oh, good! I felt the same . . . as if I was splashing through puddles along with them.

6. L. Marie - October 25, 2014

Gorgeous video. Such a lovely poem. I really needed to watch that video!!!

nrhatch - October 25, 2014

Yay! I’m glad it resonated with you. Enjoy your weekend. Hope you get to soak up some nature.

7. NancyTex - October 25, 2014

I breathe lighter just watching video of nature. Now multiply that by x1000 for what actually being in nature does for me. Love it, NH!

nrhatch - October 25, 2014

Yes, the real deal is the best. Watching videos like this just reminds me of all the great times we’ve had hiking, rafting, and hanging out at water’s edge.

NancyTex - October 25, 2014

And reminds me that its been way too long since i climbed a mountain.

nrhatch - October 26, 2014

Climb every mountain
Ford every stream
Follow every rainbow
Til you find your dream

8. Jill Weatherholt - October 25, 2014

After watching the violence that took place yesterday at the school in Washington State, watching kids be kids makes the universe right again. Thank you for this, Nancy.

nrhatch - October 25, 2014

I’m glad it restored a bit of equilibrium, Jill. It’s been a hard week on the planet for many.

9. Behind the Story - October 25, 2014

“Our shared magic places.” Yes. I love our national parks. My most recent trip was to Glacier National Park.

nrhatch - October 25, 2014

We’ve been to Yosemite, Yellowstone, Acadia, etc., . . . but not Glacier National Park. Yet.

10. Tammy - October 25, 2014

Coming back at you with the same topic (sort of)!

Great video! Nature is awesome… so much beauty to see and appreciate. Kids- our future- are a good reason to change our ways and do more to protect these ‘magic spaces’.

nrhatch - October 25, 2014

Yes! I have so many great memories of exploring the great outdoors as a kid ~ a legacy worth passing on to future generations.

12. Rajagopal - October 28, 2014

wonderful video clip of nature , with its flora and fauna and the kids cavorting around . took me back in time to my childhood days…nice post , nancy….raj

nrhatch - October 28, 2014

Wonderful, Raj. Every child should have moments like this while growing up. We’re a long way from realizing that ideal for many.

13. Three Well Beings - October 28, 2014

Fantastic! I really love this…a lot! 🙂

nrhatch - October 28, 2014

It’s a refreshing video . . . and reminds me of your last post with all the lovely water views.
