Good points! Plunge in…that’s the one hardest for me yet it never fails me. I think I have a problem with resistance.

nrhatch - August 14, 2014

Life is such a balancing act, Suzi. Sometimes resistance or procrastination holds us back when we need to plunge in without a safety net ~> Act without (over) Thinking. Other times, resistance is wise because we need to Think before Acting.

I figure I get it right about 50% of the time. 😛

2. NancyTex - August 14, 2014

An excellent reminder that the ‘secret’ to success is available to every one of us.

nrhatch - August 14, 2014

Purpose, Passion, Persistence, Perseverance, Patience:

If our Purpose is to be healthier, and we become Passionate about that endeavor, we develop the Patience we need to Persist in our efforts until we start to see tangible results ~ on the scales, in our energy levels, in our moods, or in positive feelings of well-being.

We Persevere . . . and keep moving in the direction of our dreams!

NancyTex - August 14, 2014

Indeed. Someone remarked yesterday (about how I’ve changed my life/lifestyle), “What you’ve done is amazing.”. I replied, “No. It’s actually really simple. Just make a decision to do something and then follow through on it, even when you don’t feel like it.”

Val Boyko - August 14, 2014

I would add Presence to make it 5P’s. Taking time to be present and connect to our inner voice and being.

nrhatch - August 14, 2014

Yes! Being present to the present of the present.

Here’s a great example of living in the moment, totally connected to the NOW ~ not lost in the past or worrying about the future:

Be Here Now. 😎

This was great, Nancy! The ability to say “no” sometimes is so important to our well being.

nrhatch - August 14, 2014

It sure is. We cannot be all things to all people no matter how we try. Sometimes saying “yes” to our dreams means saying “no” to the expectations of others.

5. kateshrewsday - August 14, 2014

Perfect timing, Nancy! Just the push I require to kick start the next phase of my life ~ got it all set up, then the wobbles about whether I can really do this crept in! 14. bluebee - August 16, 2014

“Treat others with respect and kindness” – this is something that is so important, and is sadly lacking in the business world.

nrhatch - August 16, 2014

When I started practicing law, it was a gentile profession. By the time I stopped, it was more of a brash business.

Made it easier to walk away.

15. Three Well Beings - August 19, 2014

These are just great! I think “trust your gut” is very important. And also to celebrate our differences as strengths. We really need to instill that in our little people and we need to remember it ourselves! Perfect inspiration, Nancy!

nrhatch - August 19, 2014

I’m glad this resonated with so many readers/viewers.

We feed our little people by tossing them a fish each time they’re hungry. As they grow, they benefit from learning to fish for themselves.
