complexThe authentic self resides at our absolute core.  It is the innermost of our innermost selves.  Our unchanging spiritual essence.

When we’re “plugged in” to the source, we feel grounded and centered.  Ego concerns and temporal attachments fade away.  Instead of being drawn into Past or Future, we exist in the Eternal Now.

In that bottomless well-spring of well-being, where Joy, Peace, Kindness, and Compassion reside, we embrace our connection to the source of all things.

The “authentic self” like the “eternal now” may be misunderstood, but that misunderstanding cannot change its essence.

It is what it is.

I am that I am.

When we are fully “who we are,” we are connected to something greater than ourselves.  We lose our obsession with “I” and tap into “we” . . . unity consciousness.

We let go of Ego to embrace Spirit.

vanarsdel7With instilled knowingness, we see that Ego, the false self, is insecure.

It’s an imposter hiding behind a flimsy mask, a persona, the veil of Maya . . . an illusion.

Once the veil falls away, we realize we are spiritual beings having a human experience.  Tapped into our essential self, we see things as they are rather than as we are.

We step into the Eternal Now and enter the flow of life.  Immersed in being, we are whole, not splintered or fragmented.

We are happy, joyous and free.

Ego’s incessant desires add to our suffering and alienate us from the happiness within.  Connected to our core, we no longer “pursue happiness” because happiness arises of its own accord.

IMGP2584bAccessing the authentic self is simple.  Just be.

Let go of Ego.  Follow the breath to your innermost core. “God is the breath within the breath.”  Let all else fade away.

In the silent spaces between thoughts, we find ourselves waiting.  As we step out of the darkness into the light, we sense our Unity and Oneness.  We re-cognize our connection to all that is.

Ego despair and confusion dissipate.  Peace, Joy, and Happiness surface.  We become one with the source.

“God dwells within me . . . as me.”

Once we know WHO we are . . . we know HOW to live.

Aah . . . that’s better!
