Catching A Seashell January 5, 2014

Bahama Breezes
beckon us over the bridge ~
we seek clear water
Chestnut Turbans wait
on sandy shorelines ~ unseen
by blind beachcombers
The Gulf’s turquoise seas
ebb and recede ~ hope rises
and falls with each tide
Catching a seashell
requires patience ~ we see
what we choose to see
Open your mind, your
eyes, your heart ~ take it all in.
This moment won’t wait.
Aah . . . that’s better!
