Think of something that makes you S~M~I~L~E.
Feel that S~M~I~L~E radiating positive energy, inflating your inner tube of happiness like a balloon.
That’s it!
Now S~M~I~L~E about something else. And something else. And something else.
Go, you!
We can create happiness anytime anywhere . . . if that isn’t something to S~M~I~L~E about, what is?
A smile makes the saddest man a little happier. ~ John Gilstrap (Nathan’s Run)
Aah . . . that’s better!

I’m going to do that today and all those smiles and thoughts of happy things will plug up all the holes that little worry thoughts can barge in.. 🙂
Exactly! It’s hard to sustain our worries when we are grinning silly grins at rabbits. 😀
It worries the heck out of people who wonder what you know that they don’t …
Yes . . . they wonder what we’ve been up to. 😉
Life is good, and there’s much to smile about! 🙂
The more things we find to SMILE about . . . the more MILES we put between frowns. 😀
I was going to smile, but those rabbits scared me.
😉
Bunnies can be terrifying . . . especially when they sneak into the house while you’re sleeping to bring you baskets of candy. 😉
**shudders**
In a world that is negative by nature, people will think you are mentally ill for being so happy. But if your God is alive why would you be depressed?
When faced with the choice . . . I choose happy. 😀
real happiness not medicated happiness
🙂
Yes . . . the kind of JOY that tingles my toes. 😀
It costs nothing 😀
Yup . . . a FREE antidote to daily S~T~R~E~S~S! 😀
I’m smiling, because MTM is coming home any minute.
Yay for BFF’s! 😀
🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 =-O 😀 😉
Perfect! 😀
Thank you! This post made me smile 😀
Yay! Exactly the reaction I hoped for. 😀
We needed smiles at work today. Lots of complaining. What’s with that?! I like the smile option much better.
Same here. I had enough melodrama in high school to last me a life time. 😀
Did you know if you speak on the telephone while smiling that the other party will hear it?
Yes! Happiness and SMILES are contagious . . . even if we can’t see them, we sense them. 😀
Just the thought of reading your post made me smile. Yesterday a lady bus driver told me that whenever she sees me, she can’t stop smiling. Seems I sometimes have the affect on folks who get to know me and I can be myself around them. 😀
That is so COOL!!! Not only that you make her SMILE but that she shared that intel with you.
Sometimes when I see someone frowning, I send WAVES of SMILES their way. It works. 😀
You reminded me, Nancy: yesterday evening Phil came home with a joke from work. Not a joke, just a silly idea, something to do with shaving logos onto camels and letting them walk round airports for advertising. And he had been chuckling helplessly about it ever since. It’s so good for him. And it’s infectious.
You’ve got me grinning, Kate . . . imagine camels wandering the concourse, spitting out cud. 😀
What a great idea Nancy.
I’m still smiling because we just got home from a glorious 6 mile hike today, but I have to work tomorrow… sigh… its not easy for me to smile on Saturday evenings 😦
Glad you enjoyed the hike . . . I enjoyed the walk around your neighborhood. 😀
A better mood happens one smile at a time 🙂 😀 😆
Mr Green agrees!
I absolutely LOVE a good smile 😀
It brightens up the space in whatever place I’m in. It’s just hard to feel bad with a smile on your face.
🙂 Looks like your smiles are contagious, Nancy! 🙂
Yes! Smiles travel at the speed of laughter. 😀
Reading this made me smile. 🙂
Yay! Spreading smiles makes ME smile.
