Writers and liquor go together like hand and glove or giraffe and scarf.  Right?

So why didn’t WE think of this?

A clever tribute to literature, Tequila Mockingbird is the cocktail book for the literary obsessed. Combining beloved classic novels with witty humor and delicious drink recipes, some of the charming recipes include:

* Vermouth the Bell Tolls
* Gin Eyre
* Are You There God? It’s Me, Margarita
* Bridget Jones’s Daiquiri, and more.

Accompanying the 65 cocktail recipes are a list of tools and techniques, a spirits glossary, and a handful of drinking games and bar bites, making this cocktail book both fun and functional. With a special cover designed to look like a classic novel, whimsical illustrations, and a two-color design throughout, Tequila Mockingbird is a one-of-a-kind cocktail book.

About the Author (quoted from Amazon):

Tim Federle is the author of over seven hundred emails. Born in beautiful San Francisco and raised in character-building Pittsburgh, Tim discovered show tunes in elementary school, prompting bullies to discover Tim. Armed only with grit (and his father’s credit card), Tim fled to New York City as a teenager. He has since worn a Tina Turner wig at the Super Bowl, a polar bear suit at Radio City, and a big fat grin in five Broadway shows.

Federle is a Broadway actor, word nerd, cocktail enthusiast, author of the YA comic novel, Better Nate Than Ever, and former lifestyle columnist for Apartment Therapy. He lives (and drinks) in New York City.
