Yesterday boasted the date stamp of 12~12~12.
That will happen again in a mere 100 years . . . assuming someone is around to do the counting.

Aah . . . that’s better!
Dozens of dozens! Great compilation!
The 12-12-12 Sandy concert was terrific! I hope it takes fewer than a dozen days for my back to settle down after rocking/dancing around the family room to the music of Springsteen, Rolling Stones etc! 😀
Sounds like FUN! We actually missed the concert last night . . . maybe I’ll catch the Rocking and Rolling on the Rebound.
Wow! Can’t wait to see video of the concert — my man, Bruce was playing, but the lineup sounded amazing!
Wish we had tuned in last night during the broadcast. Silly us. 🙂
There were 12 original colonies after it was determined that Delaware and Rhode Island were too small to be stand-alone states and had to be combined.
I have 12 teeth, and I’ve never brushed any of them.
2 and 2/5th pentragrams have a total of 12 points.
1 x 12 = 12
Top those facts!
😉
The 12-12-12 concert sold out in 12 minutes and 12 seconds.
12 scalpers bought 12 dozen tickets each
They sold the tickets for 12 times face value in just under 12 days.
I have played on the internet 12 times today, when I should have been working.
It’s 3 pm, but i still have 12 hours of work to get done before the end of the day.
Don’t forget to brush your teeth before bed. 😉
Nancy, you are a better person than me. We went out for drinks to celebrate 12.12.12. 🙂 I learned a lot more from reading this post.
I noticed 12-12-12 came and went without much fanfare around here. I felt sorry for “it.” Celebrating the day with drinks sounds great.
There is always something new to learn, and your list did this for me! 😀
Twelve is a well used number . . . all around the globe. 😉
The concert was so good! I loved this post, too, and I love the #12. I’m slightly freaky about numbers, but I like this one!
I’m a bit bummed that we didn’t tune in to the concert last night . . . sounds like a good one.
Interesting use of the color wheel! Awesome!
Thanks, Beth.
Thanks for all of the twelve facts, Nancy!
Here’s another…Julie Hedlund’s 12×12 in 2012 Picture Writing Challenge celebrated the end of the year anniversary on 12/12/12.:)
Wonderful wrap up for the 12×12 challenge. Thanks for sharing that, vivian.

12 is a very interesting number. Very informative info. May I put my 2 cents. There are 12 apostles of Jesus Christ. I happen to like 12. Thanks
Thanks for the add, seeker. An even dozen is fine. But I’m a BIG fan of a Baker’s Dozen . . . 13! 😀
You are welcome Nancy. As for lucky 13, there are 13 of us in our familly. Cheaper by the dozen!
Cool! Cheaper by the Dozen is a FUN book about efficiency.
I’ve never thought 12 was a number I should pay attention to. Thank you for all the 12 facts.
Twelve’s older sister, 13, gets so much more attention. 😉
The twelve facts were fun to read and comments too! We didn’t watch the concert. Speaking of movies up there, The Strange Life of Timothy Green came yesterday so I think we will be watching it tonight!
Enjoy it, Pix! If we were ALL a bit more like Timothy, we would NEVER have to read about another shooting at a mall, school, or ball park.
Last year, Veterans Day occured on 11/11/11. What luckier date is there than that?
At least we’ll never get 13-13-13…..
Not unless we change all the clocks and calendars. 😀
Many people got married on 12-12-12 as they considered it a lucky day to be married…..well they will need more than luck to remain committed won’t they lol Diane
I agree . . . it’s the people who make the union, not the day they chose to be hitched. 😉
Thanks for stopping by.
