At times, computers misbehave.

My computer acted up yesterday, so I called Eric, the 11-year-old next door whose bedroom looks like Mission Control.  He agreed to come over.

Eric clicked a couple of buttons and solved the problem.

“So, what was wrong?”

“It was an ID ten T error.”

“An, ID ten T error?  What’s that?”

Eric grinned.  “Haven’t you ever heard of an ID ten T error before?”

“No, I haven’t.”

“Write it down, and you’ll figure it out.”

So I wrote it down . . .

ID10T

I used to like Eric.

Aah . . . that’s better!

On Friday night, we went to Bayfest and enjoyed the Porch Party on Pine.

After getting our fill of beer, wine, and hors d’oeuvres, we walked down to the pier to watch the sunset.

Where we enjoyed the silhouetted palms and sunset beyond.

And spied a lone heron on the beach, ready to grab a snack from the surf.

Aah . . . that’s better!
