Wow! Going to get the book right now as it’s right up my alley. Thanks for sharing!

nrhatch - May 29, 2012

I just read it from “cover” to “cover” . . . Warren and Betsy spent 2 years selling their STUFF and saving up their PENNIES to finance an around the world trip.

At first, they planned to save for a one year adventure. At the end of a year, they had saved enough for a two year trip. By the time they left, they had amassed enough money in their “Dream Vault” to finance their travel plans for . . . 5 YEARS!

At this point, they are in China, headed for Mongolia. They have visted South America, Antartica, England, Scotland, Thailand . . . making friends in ports around the world.

It’s amazing what we can accomplish when we know WHAT we want to accomplish!

Thanks, Nancy. Will check it out…

Great ideas for creating a Nest Egg to finance our DREAMS and turn them into reality. 😀

3. Warren Talbot - May 29, 2012

Hi Nancy, thank you for sharing our give away today. We want people to chase their dreams in celebration and thankful for your help in spreading the word.

nrhatch - May 29, 2012

Thanks, Warren! Hope you’re having a Memory Making Birthday! I just posted my review on Amazon! Here’s to accomplishing our DREAMS!

4. Andra Watkins - May 29, 2012

I love dream books that become do books. Thanks for sharing, Nancy!!

nrhatch - May 29, 2012

While they’re traveling around the world, making their dreams come true, they’re writing books:

1. Getting Rid Of It ~ Eliminate the Clutter in your Life
2. Dream Save Do ~ A No-Nonsense Guide
3. Strip Off Your Fear & Slip Into Something More Confident

5. Crowing Crone Joss - May 29, 2012

thank you for alerting me to this.

nrhatch - May 29, 2012

I headed around to your blog to tell you “in person” but I couldn’t leave a comment. I had to clear out my browser and hadn’t had a chance to head back around.

Definitely a book with some good ideas for planning and saving for your Grand European Adventure!

6. sufilight - May 29, 2012

Nancy, Just downloaded the book. Whoo hoo. Thanks for the heads up! I started to read the introduction and right away I can tell I am going to enjoy reading their book. 🙂

Warren Talbot - May 29, 2012

Sufilight, thank you for putting a smile on my face to start our Wednesday here in Beijing. Enjoy the book and I hope you’ll let us know what you think when you are done. Feel free to reach out or drop us an Amazon review.

Enjoy and have a wonderful day.

nrhatch - May 29, 2012

Yay! Glad you grabbed a copy, Marie. It’s an easy and inspiring read with lots of great tips for focusing on priorities . . . rather than just drifting about.

And you even gave Warren the best kind of birthday gift . . . a smile to start his day.

7. Pocket Perspectives - May 29, 2012

My kindle was dead…but now it’s charged and the book is in there…I’m looking forward to reading it…who knows what corner of the earth we’ll all be on a year from now????….. : ) …wow…you just never know… hmmmm….maybe I’ll go to Nepal and set up reading programs for kids….maybe….you just never know…and then to some of those wonderful Florida beaches when I come back for a break.. : )

nrhatch - May 29, 2012

Life is full of endless possibilities . . . Betsy and Warren give some great tips on how to get from Where You Are to Where You Want To BE. 😀

I truly believe that we can accomplish anything…but we have to dream it first. The other night on American Idol (you never know where you will hear gems), Steven Tyler said something we all need to remember…”If you don’t have a dream, there is no way to make one come true.” The Talbots are doing just that and I will hop over to see if I can download the book…and will definitely review it on Amazon after I read it. How generous of them to do this. 🙂 Thanks, Nancy..you are definitely a beacon, lighting the way!

nrhatch - May 29, 2012

Thanks, Vivian. Steven Tyler should know ~ Aerosmith’s song, Dream On, is a mantra for many . . .

Dream On. Dream until your dreams come true. 😀

9. viviankirkfield - May 29, 2012

Oh my goodness…just read through the entire book…couldn’t stop reading. 🙂 And I did post a review on Amazon. What an inspiring book to motivate us to follow our dreams…with practical steps for attaining them.

nrhatch - May 29, 2012

Sounds like what I did today. I had planned to dip my toe into the pool and read a chapter or two. I didn’t stop until I reached the last page. Glad you enjoyed AND posted a review on Amazon. 😀

And speaking of reviews, I will be doing a review of Show Me How soon.

viviankirkfield - May 30, 2012

That will be lovely, Nancy! You know I appreciate it…you have a wonderful following of loyal readers…I hope they enjoy it. 😉

nrhatch - May 30, 2012

It’ll post tomorrow morning . . . and I’ve already posted a review on Amazon.

The book is TERRIFIC, Vivian. What a wonderful resource for parents and children!

10. bluebee - May 30, 2012

Hope you are doing OK, Nancy.

nrhatch - May 30, 2012

I am. Getting a few things sorted out and making plans for our family reunion ~ we’re heading to NJ in less than 2 weeks.

11. bluebee - May 30, 2012

I downloaded the Kindle book – thanks, Nancy. Can’t thank Warren and Betsy because I don’t have FB and it seems it is the only way to leave a comment. So thanks, Warren and Betsy, and Happy Birthday Warren.

nrhatch - May 30, 2012

Glad you got a copy of the book, BB. I forgot that those without FB accounts would “see things differently” over at Married with Luggage. Enjoy Dream, Save, Do!
