Delightful!!
Summer is my FAVORITE season. Long sultry days and island nights are a delight.
You left me smiling…and smiling. I haven’t been in a pool in a long time and that was one of my most favorite summer activities.
One of my favorite things about living here is access to pools year round ~ I’m in the pool, splishing and splashing,at least twice a week most weeks of the year.
I just got the air in my car fixed after five long summers without it, so that will have to be my pool. My husband said that I would have to just go sit in the car with the air on and enjoy once in a while because of the cost! In the end it didn’t costs half as much as we had been quoted even though there a few issues that popped up. I just told the dogs, hey we can go get in the car and ride around for heck of it now.
I’m glad that you’ll have a cool place to chill this summer, Linda.
One year, we got a kiddie pool for splashing around in the backyard. Aah . . . that’s better!
Yes I have done that before. I might do it again this year.
Running through the sprinkler with your grandkids might provide some FUN in the SUN too. 😀
I love your summer delights ways of keeping cool!
Thanks, Barb. It’s a great time of year to get outside and be young again.
What a nice selection of summer memories!
Thanks. Summertime is my favorite state of mind.
Ah, the joy of summer outings! 😉
Yes! Boating, shelling, spitting watermelon seeds, toasting marshmallows around the fire, nibbling corn off the cob.
Delicious… pass the corn and the butter please. 🙂
Shall do! We had some this week . . . delicious!
Wow! The pictures you’ve provided with your words really bring back fond memories to me of times during my childhood!! Wonderful.
Thanks, Janet. Summer joys always make me smile. 😀
The spirits lift with summer – and the water is the place to be
On the hottest days, nothing refreshes like a dip in the pool. 😀
Summer sure looks beautiful where you are! (I can see why it would be your favorite season.)
Thanks, Janna. It’s always been my #1 season.
These are a mix from up and down the East Coast ~ 2 from NJ (1&3), 2 from MD (5&6), and 2 from FL (2&4).
I am loving a warm evening wind…at last. And the smells it brings. Yes…another shot at summer coming right up!
Sounds like a lovely evening for sticking your nose outside.
Delightful! 🙂
Thanks, Jacqueline. I didn’t have any trouble finding a few shots that shout “SUMMER” to me.
Sounds like fun. I love your little boat, raft, or float. Are you at a bar or restaurant?
It’s a raft at Secret’s Bar & Grill in Ocean City, Maryland ~ at the outdoor bar with “wading waitresses.”
aah – summer!
Summer is in full bloom in FL . . . but not in all 50 states. I heard last night that snow was expected in Montana. 😯
Happy faces with content spirits! Children and family photos always make me smile and that great last photo is what I call “full release!” Debra
I watched a short video last night about how to be more attractive to your mate ~ the advice was great . . . SMILE! 😀
Smiles allow us to share our inner light with the world.
Well done!
Thanks, Tok! Summer delights are worth sharing, eh?
Absolutely makes me feel like summer!! Love the photos. We’re headed to the northeastern US coast in a few weeks…your photos took me there in an instant! Xo
Have a FUN trip, Jackie. We’re having a family reunion in Jersey in a couple of weeks too.
I love the photo of the children cooking marshmallows over hot coals and the sea in the background. I close my eyes and I can almost picture I’m there!
The sea is the Chesapeake Bay, which resides between the Eastern Shore of Maryland and Virgina (the DelMarVa peninsula) and Washington DC. It’s the largest salt water estuary in the states ~ a natural “hatch”ery for marine babies. 😀
