Here Comes The Sun April 20, 2012

An early morning
Up before the dawn, we yawn
As the full moon shines
Colors swirl and mix
in tropical tones and hues
as the sun appears
Brilliant sunshine drips
on pristine morning beaches
Shadows fade away
Aah . . . that’s better!

Aaaah, enjoyed this while sipping my tea. Nice visuals to greet my morning. 🙂
Nothing like the dawning of the dawn! Glad you enjoyed with your morning tea. 😎
Aah,yeah, that IS better! Thanks for this lovely respite in my day!
Thanks, Suzi. Glad you enjoyed.
I’m in the middle of “clutter busting” . . . computer files, paper files, insurance docs, etc. So sharing this has been the BRIGHTEST spot in my day. 😀
ohhhhhhhhhhh…..so beautiful…thank you….
Thanks, Kathy. Glad you enjoyed.
From the land of sunny days… Gorgeous! 🙂
Thanks, E!
I prefer the backwards one, dusk, but both are stunning to watch, and the birdies love to sing during both, which is nice. I hardly ever see dawn, but dusk is my favourite time of the day, or rather end of the day 😀
I’m with you, Alannah . . . I’ve seen many more sunsets than sunrises in my life. 😀
The birdies are singing here at the moment, for dusk is on its way 😀
Lovely . . . twilight at its best.
what a stunning planet we share.
Isn’t it? Wonderful to shine a spotlight on its stunning nature.
Oh my gosh. That middle one is luscious.
My favorite! 😀
Beautiful pictures 🙂
Rare is the early morning when I am up before the dawn . . . but it is lovely to watch the planet wake up.
The beautiful colors are a nice reward for having the will to get up when you really could sleep a bit longer. Love the colors!
Mostly I’m content to enjoy the colors at sunset and imagine them (from the comfort of my bed) at day break. 😉
Stunning photos and lovely poem 🙂
Thanks, PiP! Mother Nature is quite the artist.
perfect poetic justice to the visuals.. 🙂 a treat…
Thanks, Jas! I’m never “out of place” on a white sandy beach! 😎
ha ha 🙂
Really beautiful! You captured the spirit of Florida with the palette of “tropical tones.” Such a peaceful easy feeling…Debra
This morning is not nearly as pretty . . . it’s a rather gray day, perfect for culling overflowing office files.
That is SO beautiful.
Thank you.
Thanks, Granny. Today’s off to a peculiar start . . . with gray skies threatening. And a cat that’s “under the weather.”
We also had overcast skies but it has cleared a bit now.
Poor cat.
Mine was sneezing yesterday but is fine today.
Except he came home with two ticks!
Just got back from the Vet. Tigger’s got an infection and has been diagnosed with diabetes. I can’t stop crying.

Thanks, Jacqueline. It’s lovely to be awake at the first whisper of dawn. 😀
Your pictures are the very reason I love to capture sunrises. Beautiful!
Thanks, I catch sunsets more often than sunrises . . . both are lovely ways to press the “pause” button and breathe in beauty.
They’re all beautiful shots, but the first one is magical. Gorgeous entry Nancy!
Thanks, Theresa. Sunrises and sunsets offer such lovely palettes . . . magic worth capturing on “film.”
Amazing morning!
Thanks, Tammy. Dawn holds the promise of a new day . . . filled with infinite possibilites.
