The Afterthought January 29, 2012

Creating my Vision Board convinced me that I should add more music to my life.
So this morning as I showered, I sang.
Beautiful melodious notes washed over me as the water streamed down in steady drops from the shower head.
Suddenly, the door burst open and BFF flew into the room, “What’s wrong?!”
I smiled. “Nothing’s wrong. It’s all good.”
“I heard you screaming. What were you screaming about?”
Screaming? He thought I was screaming?
“I was NOT screaming . . . I was singing.”
“Oh. OK. Glad you’re okay”
With that, he turned to leave, then turned back . . .
“It sounded good.”
Why is it that I question the sincerity of that afterthought?
Aah . . . that’s better!
What about you? Do you sing in the shower?
