Drunken Monkeys??? January 1, 2012

The WP Stats Helper Monkeys threw together some rather suspicious looking annual stats for SLTW and tossed them my way late last night.
Since the stats appear more wrong than right . . . I’m not going to post the entire report.
My guess?
Drunken monkeys tossed the automatically generated stats for SLTW into the blender while they were mixing up a vat-sized batch of margaritas!
No matter.
Here’s my own customized State of the Cyber Union Address for SLTW:
* 1518 posts total / 577 posts in 2011 (which means I blog WAY too much!)
* 147,192 hits / 94,536 visits in 2011 (that’s 259 visits per day . . . YAY!)
* 29,000 ACTUAL comments / 32,205 SPAM comments
Yup! You read that right . . . Akismet caught MORE comments in the SPAM filter than the total number of posted comments on SLTW.
According to my Cyber Guru, that’s actually a “good thing.” It means that the Search Engines know that SLTW is here . . . now.
The most viewed post this year? . . . We Are NOT The Labels We Wear (the very FIRST post posted on SLTW).
The post with the most comments? . . . Your Kids . . . Your Responsibility! (113 comments).
Who left the most comments?
Drumroll, please . . .
The 5 most active commenters on SLTW in 2011:

Paula Tohline Calhoun 389 comments (one-handed, no less!)
- 2
Tilly Bud 367 comments (“laughing all the way”)
- 3
Cindy 365 comments (an average of one per day . . . yay!)

Thanks guys . . . you rock!!!
And thanks to each and every one of you who has added dimension to this blog since its inception in February 2010.
Your visits and insight filled comments transformed what would otherwise be barren cyber space into a place of warm community!
Here . . . have a cyber hug on me!
Aah . . . that’s better!
