The WP Weekly Photo Challenge called for A Complete About Face.

So, let’s table & stable discussions about what is wrong with the world and chat for a bit about what is working.

Hmm . . . I wonder if his bit caused his bite to become so pronounced?

Remember to Live, Love, Learn . . . and Laugh!

Aah . . . that’s better!

1. Maggie L R - September 16, 2011

that is a wonderful photo

nrhatch - September 16, 2011

Maggie . . . your photos put the biggest smile on my face!

THANKS!!!

2. Patricia - September 16, 2011

That reminds me, I need to make an appointment to have my teeth cleaned.

nrhatch - September 16, 2011

I had mine cleaned on Wednesday . . . or I would feel the same for sure.

This does make we want to brush, floss, rinse, and repeat. 😆

3. Rufus' Food and Spirits Guide - September 16, 2011

What a great picture!

nrhatch - September 16, 2011

Thanks, Greg! I love an animal with a sense of humor . . . even if it does have bad breath. 😆

4. brainrants - September 16, 2011

I just cannot… repeat, cannot say exactly how awesome the “feet up” pic along with your patented “aah, that’s better” signature is SUCH A FRIGGIN’ AND TOTAL WIN.

I’d also mention that I like this post, somewhat. He heh.

nrhatch - September 16, 2011

Thanks!

My Ego has been kicking up a dreadful storm today . . . I finally encouraged it to take a hike so I could take a breather.

Aah . . . that’s better! 😎

5. brainrants - September 16, 2011

N-
BTW, I have a Cavalry background, so I also appreciate horses, and very much on that. Second comment here so you can ensure I wasn’t confusing you with the horse w/ the teeth plaque problem. LOL.

nrhatch - September 16, 2011

Thanks. Of course, it would still be better than being confused with the other end of the beast, eh? 😉

brainrants - September 17, 2011

Would never confuse the proper end of anything with the other when equines are concerned. Besides, you provided a snap of your lovely small feet, so I (hopefully) concluded that the hooved photos were not of the author.

nrhatch - September 17, 2011

Correct! Not a hoof in sight!

Thanks for your e-mail. We’re not so very far apart.

6. Linda - September 16, 2011

Dentists should really use that to encourage brushing and flossing. I wonder if that is a real laugh. So cute.

nrhatch - September 16, 2011

Our Great Danes used to laugh at us when we tried to round them up if they snuck outside ~ they had a terrific sense of humor. Tigger has a sense of humor . . . but he rarely laughs out loud. Too much decorum.

7. Jo Bryant - September 16, 2011

What a great photo = happiness

nrhatch - September 16, 2011

Thanks, Jo. Glad you got a kick out of it. 😀

8. Cindy - September 16, 2011

Off to floss my toes … erm … teeth … 😉

nrhatch - September 17, 2011

That made me laugh . . . then I quickly scrolled up to make sure I didn’t have something stuck between my toes. 😀

9. jannatwrites - September 17, 2011

That horse has my pre-braces smile (circa 4th grade or so) – only my teeth weren’t quite as dirty 😉

I like the reflections in the pool picture. With your feet propped up on the chair by the pool, it makes me wish I had one right about now. (The pool, not your feet – I have two feet of my own already.)

nrhatch - September 17, 2011

I wonder if the vet has suggested a whitening agent to “Mr. Ed.”?

The best part about the pool . . . it’s a communal pool to use when we wish ~ without daily maintenance responsibilities. I don’t swim enough to want a pool of my own.

10. adeeyoyo - September 17, 2011

2x great pics Nancy and I can relate to BOTH, lol! (Now where’s the toothpaste…?)

nrhatch - September 17, 2011

The “poster horse” definitely makes one cognizant of the need for proper dental hygiene. 😀

11. souldipper - September 17, 2011

Which of those wicked women in my dentist’s office sent you my xrays?!

nrhatch - September 17, 2011

I’ve seen your “new” smile . . . it’s gorgeous!

12. GWTLC - September 17, 2011

A funny pic indeed! That’s a horse with lots of body confidence.

nrhatch - September 17, 2011

It’s checking it’s reflection in the lens . . . and asking, “Do I have apple stuck in my teeth?”

13. the island traveler - September 17, 2011

“Remember to Live, Love, Learn . . . and Laugh!” I will my friend. Everyday if I can. That looks like a T-rex, isn’t it. What a huge grin with great teeth. His expression is priceless, almost with a hint of humor. Love it! Have a blessed day to you and your family. Cool looking feet. I could almost see you throwing a big , generous smile.

14. the island traveler - September 17, 2011

Oh, wait….it looks more now like a horse with a funny smile…It’s 2 in the morning, my vision is not as sharp . Thanks for making me smile….the horse photo is irresistible!

nrhatch - September 17, 2011

That is not a T-Rex . . . it’s Dexter, the laughing horse. 😀

15. Tilly Bud - September 17, 2011

Good one, Nancy!

nrhatch - September 17, 2011

If Dexter starts a blog, he may call it “The Laughing Horse.” 😀

16. 2e0mca - September 17, 2011

I used to joke with my lady flying instructor who kept a horse… Nasty things – All legs and Teeth 😉 That’s a great set of gnashers 🙂

nrhatch - September 17, 2011

Not an equine fan? I admit to being nervous around horses . . . especially if I’m wearing flip flops. 😉

2e0mca - September 19, 2011

I love them to look at but getting too close gives me a histamine attack (or it did the time I helped my friend Sue groom her horse).

nrhatch - September 19, 2011

As much as I love animals, I wouldn’t enjoy being around them if they made my head feel funky.

17. jakesprinter - September 17, 2011

Nice Photo

nrhatch - September 17, 2011

Thanks, Jake. Loved your clown faces. 😀

18. spilledinkguy - September 17, 2011

Hahaha… that’s awesome!
Is she/he a horse or a ballerina (did Mr. Ed say that before, or did I just make that up?!)?
🙂

nrhatch - September 17, 2011

I’m not sure . . .

But it sounds like something Mr. Ed would have said ~ “Hey, Wilbur!” 😀

19. suitablefish - September 17, 2011

funny!

nrhatch - September 17, 2011

Life is better with laughter. 😆

20. Maggie - September 17, 2011

I laughed out loud at those horse teeth.

nrhatch - September 17, 2011

Maybe this is why we should “never look a gift horse in the mouth!” 😀

21. nuvofelt - September 17, 2011

Dentists are the feature of my post on Monday. The above teeth won’t be featured however. It won’t be as striking a post as this, but I’m sure I’ve seen that face somewhere before. Think it lives over the road.
😉

nrhatch - September 17, 2011

Our dentist has quite a collection of humorous artwork featuring . . . dentists!

Some are Norman Rockwellesque ~ the calm, caring dentist.
Others are somewhat “darker” in humor ~ dentist as villain.

Look forward to your post.

22. grannydog - September 17, 2011

This is great! Put a big smile on my face 🙂

nrhatch - September 17, 2011

Yay! Exactly my intent. 😀

23. ElizOF - September 18, 2011

Those teeth look like they could do some serious damage! Yikes! 🙂

nrhatch - September 18, 2011

Yup . . . quite a set of choppers!

24. changeversations - September 19, 2011

Oh my! A face only a mother could love. Great photo. 🙂

nrhatch - September 19, 2011

A mother . . . or a horse lover. 😀

25. thirdhandart - September 19, 2011

Love horses, but this one looks kinda scary and silly at the same time. Thank you for the laugh.

nrhatch - September 19, 2011

You’re welcome! Your pic and poem were beautiful.

thirdhandart - September 20, 2011

Thank you.

26. pix & kardz - September 20, 2011

thanks for sharing the smiles

nrhatch - September 20, 2011

Glad you enjoyed! 😀

pix & kardz - September 20, 2011

nrhatch - September 20, 2011
