Nothing like a roaring campfire . . .
To get things heated up . . .
Please, sir, may I have S’More?
Toasted Marshmallows + Graham Crackers + Chocolate = Sticky Sweet Smiles
Aah . . . that’s better!

Fun around a campfire is the BEST!
I agree. When we went camping, I wanted a campfire no matter how hot the air temp ~ the flickering flames and crackling logs infused the experience with peace.
The ultimate feel-god post, Nancy! Thank you!
My quote of the day: There is no love more sincere than the love of food. ~ George Bernard Shaw 😀
Looks really good 🙂
Campfires and kids = perfect together 😉
Wow! Does that bring back memories, mostly of my days as a Brownie and then a Girl Scout. Ending a day of tasks and hiking and swimming with s’mores was the cherry on a hot fudge sundae.
yummy… 🙂
Same here. When camping, S’mores became the exclamation point to the rest of the day.
There’s something about having a big fire on the beach…great fun.
Crackling wood, pounding surf, bares toes in warm sand.
Aah . . . bliss! 😎
Mmmm…sounds like a yummy idea! 🙂
I haven’t has S’mores in years!
Last time for me was at Disney’s Fort Wilderness. They have a campfire once a week followed by a movie. Mmm . . . toasty!
It’s great fun sitting around a campfire, especially at night on the beach with the sound of the surf in the background. The carefree setting seems to bring out the best in us – chatting, telling jokes, etc. It’s great for kids too!
Campfire chats are a wonderful treat . . . for kids of all ages.
Nancy dear friend, can you tell this English person what a Graham Cracker is?
I was on a diet once ( one of many) and it asked for Graham Crackers but nobody knew what I was talking about.
Please do enlighten me…
Loved the fun pictures
A graham cracker is semi-sweet . . . like a digestive biscuit.

That looks idyllic! And just by the sea too… perfection.
That “sea” is the Chesapeake Bay . . . the largest salt-water estuary on the east coast.
An idyllic setting for enjoying a campfire. 😀
Looks like fun!
We had a blast! With sweet sticky smiles abounding. 😀
Great post!
It looks like you all had a great time and created wonderful memories.
Love the music 😉
Thanks, Tok. Yesterday’s WP prompt reminded me of these photos gathering cyber dust. Our nieces and nephews, although older, still enjoy s’mores. 😀
Wish I were there… love that fire-pit! 🙂
