It’s easy.  Just type : mrgreen : without the spaces.    

What if you want to roll your eyes in cyberspace?  🙄
Type : roll : without the spaces.      

I know what you’re thinking.  That’s cool!  😎
It is : cool :     

But remember to leave out the spaces or your face will be red. : oops :   

And, if you’re already having a tough day, that might make you : cry :
