It’s been a few years since the two of you wed
Said the Cat as he raised his Hat from his head
Not that we’re counting, but we like to be exact
It’s been 27 years, on the morrow, in fact
Wedding Anniversaries do not arrive every day
So we should enjoy them in every possible way
With flowers, bubbly, a cake and bunches of fun
Said the Cat in the Hat to Thing 2 and Thing 1
The Grinch appeared to add to the pleasure
Reminding us marriage is something to treasure
Twenty seven years have gone by in a flash . . .
But just think of the life you’ve put in that dash!
We’re off to Sarasota to commence celebrating! Have a Wonderful Wednesday.
