You are so very lucky.

nrhatch - June 4, 2011

Nieces and nephews are TONS of FUN!

3. run4joy59 - June 4, 2011

very nice…let’s see, for me that would be 1+2+2+2=1 lucky aunt…I’m just crazy about my nieces and nephews…looks like you are too!!

nrhatch - June 4, 2011

I am! A great bunch from four different families ~ spread out from CO to NJ to FL.

4. dorisrudddesigns - June 4, 2011

Great take on “numbers”!

nrhatch - June 5, 2011

Thanks, Doris.

That, to me, is the most interesting part of the weekly challenge . . . to see so many different interpretations on a one word them.

5. Linda - June 5, 2011

great pics. looks like you guys have lots of fun together. sad to be spread so far though.

nrhatch - June 5, 2011

We do have great FUN when we get together. But the distance minimizes opportunities for interaction.

Either way . . . they all are growing up too fast. 😀

6. therealsharon - June 5, 2011

Nieces and nephews are definitely awesome…also great nephews! I have 9 nieces and nephews and 2 great nephews currently and I love them all like crazy! 🙂

nrhatch - June 5, 2011

Crazy cool! No great nieces or nephews on the horizon for us since the eldest is just finishing up his first year at the U of Chicago.

Hey there, you lucky aunt… There’s also a hidden truth in your family equation…

According to Numerology ~ 4+3+2+1=10 ~ and take the 10 to find your base number ~ 1+0=1

Great genes you have in your family, too..!

nrhatch - June 5, 2011

I did think of that . . . I wonder what a base number of “1” signifies when it comes to nieces and nephews? 😀

Joanne - June 5, 2011

I don’t know… But I’m sure if you think about it long enough, you’ll come up with something to make mean something;-D

nrhatch - June 5, 2011

Go team! We are Number One! 😀

8. Tilly Bud - June 5, 2011

What a lovely post!

nrhatch - June 5, 2011

Thanks, Tilly. It’s such fun to go through photos and pick a few pics to share. 😀

Tilly Bud - June 5, 2011

It is; I love doing it 🙂

nrhatch - June 5, 2011

I’ve discovered I am “hoarding” photos. 😉

9. eof737 - June 5, 2011

How funny and smart! Of course, the teenager in the back row of the shot showing the scary movie-hand-signal wielding aunt is not amused. LOL! 🙂

nrhatch - June 5, 2011

He amused us all by looking “not amused.” 😉

Very cool way to present numbers for the challenge. I’m not there yet. Still haven’t had an idea pop for this one. Love all those nieces and nephews.

nrhatch - June 5, 2011

I went through so many photos looking for a depiction of “numbers” and finally gave up, switched gears, and thought of my favorite “sets” . . . 4, 3, 2, 1!

11. Maggie - June 5, 2011

Aww! I bet you make an awesome aunt!

nrhatch - June 5, 2011

Thanks, Maggie. I’ve had so much FUN with them over the years . . . playing games, telling stories, singing songs.

They’ve added wonderful dimension to my life.

Wow, that egret is simply beautiful. Great photos.

nrhatch - June 5, 2011

Thanks, Rufus. I’m guessing you mean the egret on the Tigger post. 😀

13. christinecreations - June 5, 2011

Such a beautiful family. Love your idea. It’s interesting to view everyone’s interpretation of one word.

nrhatch - June 6, 2011

I agree! The photo challenges are FUN ~ picking the pics to share . . . and then seeing what others have chosen.

14. Tokeloshe - June 7, 2011

Well done!

nrhatch - June 7, 2011

Lucky for me . . . their parents did all the hard work. 😉

15. 2e0mca - June 8, 2011

Excellent ‘different’ interpretation 🙂

nrhatch - June 8, 2011

Thanks. Loved your shot of the 411!

I had a tough time leaving a comment. What I was typing was invisible until I pressed “Post.” That’s why it sounded as if I was stuttering. 😉

2e0mca - June 8, 2011

Np – thanks for the comment – greatly appreciated 🙂
