When you’re eating a chocolate bunny, which goes first?  Heads?  Or tails?

Haha, I love that comic!

nrhatch - April 21, 2011

Bunnies always make me smile. 😀

2. Piglet in Portugal - April 21, 2011

How I crave a chocolate bunny easter egg 🙂
PiP

nrhatch - April 21, 2011

A Cadburry Creme Egg?

Piglet in Portugal - April 21, 2011

Ah you remembered 🙂

nrhatch - April 21, 2011

I did! 😎

3. Debra - April 21, 2011

hehehe …love this comic. 🙂 for me probably the ears goes first.:)And dark chocolate bunnies yum!

and yes I too love cadbury eggs but only one or two …they are rich:)

nrhatch - April 21, 2011

This comic always makes us laugh. Dark chocolate is divine. Yummy!

4. Greg Camp - April 21, 2011

Your mouth must not be big enough–CHOMP!

nrhatch - April 21, 2011

Having a big mouth does eliminate some of the tough decisions about which end to tackle first. 😉

5. gitikapartington - April 21, 2011

have you read the story of my bunny’s demise? ( last week)

nrhatch - April 21, 2011

I have now! And I’ve added links to your posts. Thanks for the “heads up.” 😀

6. souldipper - April 21, 2011

This is the third year that those silly rabbits have been around and there hasn’t been an Easter miracle for them! 😀

nrhatch - April 21, 2011

Only 3 years? I expect I’ve had this comic for closer to 13 year.

Finally got around to scanning it so I could send the “original” to my twin nieces who turn 12 the day before Easter. 😀

7. Lisa - April 21, 2011

When I was growing up I never got to eat the Easter chocolate because we kept Kosher for Passover. Now I think I might indulge . . . but will I regret it as I blow my healthy eating? I need me some chocolate ears. Munch, munch, munch.

nrhatch - April 21, 2011

Chocolate is healthy! That’s my story and I’m sticking to it! 😀

Lisa - April 21, 2011

No need to convince me. And if you break the ears off first, all of the calories leak out of them. 😀

nrhatch - April 21, 2011

Thank you for that bit of Easter wisdom ~ pour out the calories BEFORE consuming. 😉

Lisa - April 21, 2011

My list of how to avoid calories is endless . . .

nrhatch - April 21, 2011

As the song (from GREASE) goes, “Tell me more, tell me more . . . ” 😉

8. Rosa - April 21, 2011

That’s a great comic! I’d say the ears go first with me…

nrhatch - April 21, 2011

Me too! Head first . . . so it could not give me “sad eyes.” 😉

9. Pseu - April 21, 2011

Lindt bunnies seem to have taken over from Easter eggs. Much nicer chocolate than Cadbury… but I haven’t found any dark chocolate ones this year.

nrhatch - April 21, 2011

I love Lindt Truffles, and shall have to be on the look out for their bunnies. 🙂

10. Pseu - April 21, 2011

A bit of Lindt and the end of Lent anyone?

nrhatch - April 21, 2011

Lindt Chocolate . . . the perfect way to end a month of “sacrifice and deprivation.” 😀

11. clarbojahn - April 21, 2011

Found last years dark chocolate Easter Bunny in the freezer and will put him along with new chocolate eggs in the basket. Husb will be gone, taking grandchild home but he’ll have his basket when he gets home. And he’ll have help eating it. Seven year old grand child informed me he still believes in the Easter Bunny. How else does all that chocolate get into the baskets if Mommy doesn’t do it? he he.

nrhatch - April 21, 2011

LOL. You managed to keep a dark chocolate Easter Bunny in the freezer for an entire year?! You must have WAY MORE WILLPOWER than most of us Bunny Eaters. 😀

12. Tokeloshe - April 21, 2011

C-u-t-e 😉

nrhatch - April 21, 2011

Isn’t this darling? I wish I had drawn it. 😀

13. Penny - April 21, 2011

Very good picture. I say the head first-but I am going to avoid all the chocolate and sweets-it would be nice if all the calories could be removed !! 🙂

nrhatch - April 21, 2011

I shall compromise by avoiding all sweets . . . except Chocolate. 😉

14. Carol Ann Hoel - April 21, 2011

Ouch! Ha! I love chocolate. I’ll have to buy a chocolate bunny. Why not? Blessings to you, Nancy…

nrhatch - April 21, 2011

Yay! Enjoy it, Carol Ann ~ from the tip of its ears to it cotton tail!

15. carldagostino - April 21, 2011

I ALWAYS FELT LIKE A CANNIBAL WITH THE RABBIT

nrhatch - April 21, 2011

Me too! Chocolate bars seem much more humane. 😀

16. Team Oyeniyi - April 21, 2011

That one never fails to bring a smile to my face!

nrhatch - April 21, 2011

It quacks me up. 😉

17. oldancestor - April 21, 2011

I don’t care where I start, as long as the chocolate is good quality.

nrhatch - April 22, 2011

Give the man a cigar!

I remember eating some pretty hollow tasting hollow rabbits. No more. It’s de-licious or it’s de-garbage. 😀

oldancestor - April 22, 2011

It doesn’t have to be Godiva (it helps, though), but it should at least be Hershey’s.

nrhatch - April 22, 2011

Godiva . . . perfect!

18. Cindy - April 22, 2011

Bwahahahaha!

nrhatch - April 22, 2011

Yay! I’ve been waiting to hear your laugh! 😛

19. kateshrewsday - April 22, 2011

Your post is as macabre as mine today Nancy!! Eating chunks out of bunnies? I’ll never be able to look a chocolate bunny in the eyes from now on..

Eggs for me, I think 😀

nrhatch - April 22, 2011

I always started at the head . . . with the bunny facing AWAY from me until its eyes are gone. I couldn’t stand seeing that look of reproach.

20. Tilly Bud - April 22, 2011

That one took me a minute! lol 🙂

nrhatch - April 22, 2011

It all depends where your head is at. 😛

21. flyinggma - April 22, 2011

Very cute! Not looking forward to the chocolate hangover on Monday…

nrhatch - April 22, 2011

I tend not to O.D. on chocolate these days. After a few bites, it stops tasting good, and my stomach starts to scream “ENOUGH” . . . so I stop eating.

Unless, for one reason or another, I don’t. 😀

22. jeanne - April 22, 2011

Thanks for the giggle!

nrhatch - April 22, 2011

You’re welcome! Giggling is good for what ails us. 😀

23. eof737 - April 23, 2011

Oh that is wicked! 🙂
Eliz

nrhatch - April 23, 2011

And those eyes . . . so trusting and sweet.

24. jannatwrites - April 24, 2011

This was great!

Poor bunnies 😦

nrhatch - April 24, 2011

I know. It’s hard to look them in the eye while gobbling them up. 😀
