One reason I love animals . . . is because animals love us.  Whether they feel love in exactly the same way as humans or not doesn’t matter.

They love.  And their love endures.

If you doubt that . . . look at this:

My husband and I were both transfixed by this story when we saw it – actually they have been on more than once. have you seen the video from Today about the gorilla that was raised similarly, then released, and what happened when his caretakers went back? Absolutely wonderful, and sad, too, because he could not understand why when they visited they did not stay. he followed them down the river watching them leave. . .but he had established a family and was doing very well. I’ll look for the link.

I watched this several times yesterday with tears in my eyes.

Love in action is lovely to watch.

If you find the link, please share.

Animals are so awesome . . .

I wish that everyone would understand that they are more like humans than we’ve been socialized to believe.

They deserve our utmost love and respect.

Yes, animals do deserve our utmost love and respect.

My dog teaches me what it means to live in the present moment every single day.

He knows, but I’m still learning…

Why oh why can’t all people understand how wonderful animals are?! That they have feelings and love to give?

There are none so blind as those who refuse to open their eyes and hearts.
